I eat breakfast here all the time. The best hash browns for miles. Some of my favorites are the chicken fried steak and the Loco breakfast.

Always busy, we stop for breakfast once in a while on Sunday mornings. Very busy, but plenty of waitresses and the food is delivered quickly. We always choose the "Honored" breakfasts, for seniors, and are rarely disappointed.

No frills here. Just diner food. The pancakes were huge. The service was slow but attentive. An old lady glared at me three when my kids made any noise at all. If she did it again, I was going to ask if she wanted to sit with us!

We've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner at Jay's were regulars for a couple of years. We've always had a good experience there. This is a place that is frequented by locals seeking home-style meals at a bargain price & a sense of community belonging - don't go there for fancy food or ambience.

Jay's has been around for a long, long time and the place looks it with worn countertops, scuffed floors, and a few waitresses who must have been there since the end of the last ice age. The service is haphazard and not particularly helpful. Went there two or three times with a group of friends for breakfast. While we were... More

For those of you old enough to remember roadside cafes this is a great one. the food is very good quality, well prepared and served fast and attentively. Cost is low quality of food high, a good combination for me. This is café food done well. Don't expect a unique culinary experience or a "foodie" high rating, just well prepared... More

We stopped at Jay's on our way home from a concert weekend. It was a good experience. The French toast and omelette was very filling and tasted great. Good service too.

Does not look like much from the outside...but the parking lot is always full. The food is downhome cookin' but they do have special foods for diet restrictions

Jay's is known as Kenmore's best greasy spoon cafe. The real attraction at Jay's is breakfast. The offerings are extensive and everything I have had has been excellent. The building, both inside and out, is old and much in need of paint and other appearance work. But the tables are kept clean and the service is usually very good. I... More

This is a regular breakfast stop for me on my morning bike ride along the Burke-Gilman trail north from Seattle. The oatmeal (my regular order) is great, and the pancakes and chicken fried steak are good, too. Friendly service, and very reasonable prices.
