It's a greasy spoon that doesn't overload on the grease. Friendly staff, great old service station decor, and quality diner food. Very much worth a visit.

Perhaps my expectations were to high but we had hear this was THE place to stop for Burgers shakes etc. I might return for the decor but the food was just average. Fairly sure everything was all frozen from a food vendor so it was fine but not the outstanding eatery that I had hoped to fine. Server was kind... More
When I am in Ellensburg, I love to stop here. I worked for Mobil Oil for 22 years and it has lots of memorabilia from Mobil and other companies decorating the walls. Great to see those iconic symbols from my childhood. The food is good diner food - great burgers, salads and milkshakes. It is a very fun experience and... More
Whenever we head east we try and come to the Red Horse for breakfast or lunch; we've even been known to leave at the crack of dawn to make it here just as we start to get hungry. The food is good, the coffee is good, and the staff is friendly. But it's the gas and oil decor that really... More
They have been good in the past so I will chalk my last visit up to being to busy for the the staff they have. wait time was crazy. took forever for someone to find us and take our order and then the food wasn't as good as it usually is.... Kinda was a bummer..
What a cool place! Full of motoring memorabilia so spent ages reading the walls. Food is standard diner fare but is good quality and the staff are really friendly.
We stopped at the Red Horse Drive-In in Ellensburg on our way to Moses Lake. It is a 50's/60's theme diner. All done in red and white. The list of sandwiches, burgers to choose from takes awhile to read. There is something for everyone. Breakfast served until around 11 am. We will be back!
This restaurant has good food good clasic atmosphere but the prices are a little high for what you get. But the sandwichs burgers and pretty much everything on there menu is pretty darn good if you get the chance you should definitely try this place. My family and I eat here once a month and if you don't feel like... More
just a comment...that my husband wrote a n article for his blog on the "Red Horse Diner" . My husband has written a book on best practices called "The Graduate Handbook - You Don't Know what you Don't Know." He wrote in his blog about how the Red Horse Diner exemplifies some of those best practices....He would like to publish it on Twitter and Facebook as well............he needs a photo he can use of the restaurant. We forgot to take one with us we were there.
