We ate at Epulo when it was in its former location. It was cramped for space there, but the food was excellent. NOW, not so much. We went for our anniversary dinner and were disappointed by the food. We both had the special entree -...a mini filet of beef. The meat was tender, but whatever flavor it might have had was overpowered by the huge pile of charred asparagus and broccolini that accompanied it. The dish came without a starch, so we ordered the risotto to share with it. That dish was delicious. For dessert we had the donuts. They were tasty. But we had expected the flavorful food from the previous place. we might go back and give it a second look - if only because the service was excellent!!More

Everything was fantastic starting with the clams with lentils and sausage in the nectar and broccolini, entrees were the rigatoni with a melody of cheese and the short ribs were tender and beautiful. We finished with banana bread pudding and the chocolate torte. To be...honest the service was a little shakey at first but came around. I would return and recommend that this is a must if looking for a good experience in Edmonds.More

Four of us went for happy hour and sat outside under the toasty heaters. We each had two glasses of wine and then we ordered three types of flatbread: chevre, pancetta and sausage. All were great, but I think the pancetta was our favorite. We...split the bill four ways and it was only $21 each, which I think was a heck of a bargain. Service was a bit slow getting the first drink, but fine after that. You would never know that the building is a remodeled old Safeway store.More

A big upgrade on the old Sunset 190 space. We ate lunch outdoors which with the new sun “sails” offers protection against the strong August sun. We ate two salads, my wife had the gem salad with chicken - without the chicken there would have...been 5 lettuce leaves albeit with a great dressing for $12 and the chicken for an extra $6 was well worth the upgrade. I chose the frigola sarda salad which was served on a tiny plate compared to the gem salad. While blindfold I would not have guessed an anchovy vinaigrette dressing - a big reason for ordering - it was tasty enough but not good value for $. We’ll go back and try other dishes since we have always been impressed with dinner.More

Excellent spot for a happy hour in Edmonds! The lounge is a great spot for a one-on-one get together. The food is amazing and the service is top quality! A few beers on tap, but their cocktails are the specialty. With a one page HH...menu, there are more than 8 selections to choose from and everything we ordered (5 items) were tasteful! I recommend their flatbread pizzas and cheese curds!More

This is a local hangout that has fascinating menu selection with beautiful presentation. Full bar with good selection of wines. The place is fairly small so call for reservations. Atmosphere is cozy with tall booths in some areas. Limited parking but there is street parking....It reminds me of being in an European bistro. Prices are not moderate, but I’m worth it ;).More

Our 3 week west coast trip has ended in Seattle... this was bar far the best meal of the trip. The staff and venue are excellent and the food is fantastic. I highly recommended the short ribs, if you were to ask my partner she...would say the pasta was the star of the menu... it is all great. Would highly recommended a visitMore

Short rib and halibut were lackluster and bland with no spice or aroma I had to use fair amount of pepper on my halibut to make it a little bit flavorful with $37 a plate I expected a little character in my meal. Judging by...the positive reviews I can only guess that the main chef was not in the kitchen that nightMore

I come here at least once a month. The food, service and prices are always excellent. I like to sit in the booths, as this provides some privacy and allows for conversation. Service is always good - I would even say fun. The portion sizes...are sensible which I appreciate. Can get busy on weekends so a rez is recommended.More

They have a good Hapoy Hour, but the bar is pretty small. If you are going to have 7 people in your party you might need to have someone get there early to grab seats.
