We used to come whenever we were in town for our wine pickups. When Russell is there, food is very good. We have had inconsistent quality and stayed away for a while. We will give it another shot next weekend. Hope it is better. What's worse, is that we have heard this from a lot of locals.

Russell's never disappoints! Great drinks in the bar. Wonderful service and the food- we have never had a bad meal. This time I had salmon and my husband had a New York and we shared the spinach salad. Maybe the oddest location for a wonderful restaurant but always worth the trip.

6 of us went here Friday night. Our friends had been here before, this was our first time. We have heard good things about Russell's and was excited to try. The first thing you notice is, this is not a quite restaurant. We were slowly waited on. We initially ordered Wine and they were going to bring bread as well.... More

Very nice ambiance but mediocre kitchen. They come on like a high quality restaurant but the food, in general, doesn't measure up. Clam chowder was short on creativity and long on potatoes. Rib eye was cooked nicely, a little beyond the medium rare I asked for but it was tough. Veggies, underdone.

We have been enjoying Russell's for several years. This past Saturday we were there for my birthday dinner. Very special. I'm particularly fond of the Filet with the Bread Pudding for dessert. My wife prefers the fish. We started our dinners by sharing the crab cakes and sea scallops. Delicious! My daughter and son in law also had the Filet.... More

WHAT DID YOU SAY. I CAN"T HEAR YOU. It is easer to text at the table then try and talk. First, the server was a professional. The busers need to be trained as not to remove dinner plates until everyone at the table is finished. Let us start with appetizers. First of all the Crab cakes could have been a... More

We have been to Russell's for dinner, for Happy Hour, and for special events. This is a restaurant that is consistently very good and they love Washington wines. There's a reason so many wineries partner with Russell's for events. They promote Washington wines and why shouldn't they because our wines have one of the best QPR's on the planet and... More

A few of us took a good friend out for his birthday dinner. We had steaks and seafood, what Russell's is known for, and had a tasty bottle of Lantz Cellars Syrah. Perfect evening!!

Service is spot-on, their wine list is pretty good, they have a generous corkage fee and policy, and the food is very good. Part of their menu is "what ever the chef found that was good today" I suspect, although it is somewhat predictable. Even the same base protein is served differently a week later. It's very different (cafeteria) for... More
