If you step into this funky little shop, don't expect anything like the same old fare. Coffee is espresso or "french press" for those of us not into espressos and latte's. Everything is on a Crepe, so you'll need to bring your sweet tooth. The...More

My son and I were visiting Bellingham for the weekend and decided to try out Magdalena's for brunch. I ordered a savory crepe, he ordered sweet. Both were DELISH! Cute restaurant inside too. Highly recommend if you are nearby!

If crepes are your thing, this is your place! Wildly wonderful combinations for those who enjoy sweet or savory crepes. Good size portions; very fresh. The cafe is tucked away in the Fairhaven part of Bellingham, close to Sound and great path. Go there first,...More

The crepes at Magdalena's are thin, crisp, and light and come with different fillings. For lunch, we split a crepe of smoked salmon with brie, tomatoes and capers. The order came very quickly. We were amazed by the size of the crepe. It was overflowing....More

Well worth calling in to have a crepe. If you are waiting to catch the Alaska ferry they are only ten minutes walk up the hill.

I saw the sign outside saying Polish pierogi and had to stop in. I'm Polish and the handmade pierogi were wonderful. I also had a delicious cabbage soup with a nice sourdough bread. It was a great lunch and I hope they put more Polish...More

Thank you Ann, I'm glad you enjoyed it. We serve golabki as a special, more often during the fall and winter months, so you'll have to keep an eye out. Magdalena posts all her daily specials on FaceBook. See you again!

Best crepes in Bham. Love everything I've ever tried at this place. ALL of the crepes are delicious both savory and sweet. I love the lavender lemonade and they make delicious lattes/tea/coffee as well.

Hi this was the second time we tried Magdalena's as we felt the first experience wasn't great but was probably worth trying again. The second time was even more disappointing than our first try. The server placed at an awkward table to start off, there...More

Description
We were visiting Bellingham. Our daughter told us about a creperie she'd liked but couldn't remember the name. We couldn't find it on the web, but did happen upon Magdalena's which is in Fairhaven, a quaint suburb where we planned to stop anyway. We decided to give it a try and it was wonderful. Inventive crepes, savory and dessert, fresh and delicious. We shared a veggie crepe, made properly with buckwheat; potato and cheese perogi, and a smoked salmon, avocado, sun dried tomato, and horse radish creme baguette. We were too full for a dessert crepe, alas. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality. And Magdalena proved lively, personable, and charming. The cuisine is basically Polish, but lightened and re-invented. I took some photos for TripAdvisor readers. Almost worth a trip from Seattle.
