Been to this place lots of times. Love the food and wine selection. I enjoy sitting at the bar especially. Plus with Lot 3 there is always a good cocktail nearby.

I love consistency. When a place does everything well, it deserves many repeat occasions, and that is the Purple chain of wine bar restaurants. Their menu is not extensive, but everything on it is something that I want to have from the Wild Boar bolognese to what I had today, the fish and chips. The wine list is extensive with... More

The food is delicious and seasonal and they've got an impressive wine list. However, I found it hard to hear the coworkers I went with because the atmosphere was pretty loud. Also, we waited a long time for our food (the server was apologetic - apparently we got "stuck behind two large groups"). When the food arrived, everyone liked theirs.... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch, and the service was efficient without feeling rushed. The menu had extensive choice, and our food was delicious. The roasted tomato soup and the margarita "pizzetta" were excellent, as were the BLTA, the kids' burger, and the kids' macaroni and cheese. Lots of wines by the glass and lovely French press coffee. The... More

This is a very expensive restaurant, so we set the bar high, and it missed the mark on all reasons one would go to a restaurant. The music is super loud, and even after asking our waiters to lower it, it did not happen. We had to yell at each other the entire evening. The food is below the quality... More

First time at any Purple Cafe and we enjoyed it. We just made happy hour on a Saturday and enjoyed a bourbon manhattan (good), a glass of wine (they give samples if you need help deciding) and calamari. The calamari was good, not greasy and the smoked tomato aioli was absolutely delicious! I had the lamb shank for dinner and... More

Was by myself as my wife was attending a Sales Meeting and so I decided to explore downtown Bellevue by foot. Came across this interesting corner restaurant and decided to give it a try. Good choice! HUGE selection of wine and a good menu. Sat at the bar, always entertaining, and ordered a light dinner followed by dessert.

I enjoyed a rye manhattan and something called a "shrub". The decor is somewhere between whimsical and industrial; i think you could describe it as 'steampunk'.

I have been here with friends a few times and I like it less each time I go. If you have a big party and can get a table in the wine racks its very fun. Food is okay, but not nothing outstanding that have sampled.

Thank rc3
