Had dinner here in one of their private rooms and it worked well. Service was great and food for the most part was amazing. ( a few of the steaks were not as well cooked to the order as people expected) but we were a...More

Lunch is an awesome value here... We had the Ahi bowl and Spiced tenderloin apps and they were aesthetically pleasing and delicious. We couldn't pass up the burgers, they were decadent but not to the point of incapacitating a person from the "meat sweats". Joe...More

Yes it's another steak house but oh so good. Make reservations! Great food and great service too. Pricey but what steak house isn't. Great for occasions.

Dinner for two cost close to $500 with tip. Food was mostly good, but my lobster was undercooked and the waiter forgot my soup. Wine recommendations were great, but the sommelier seemed busy. Asked for no garlic, but the mushrooms were drenched with garlic sauce....More

Let me state up front that although my star rating for this restaurant is not high due to a less-than-wonderful dining experience, the very courteous and professional manner in which the wait staff and house manager responded to my concerns, I will likely give the...More

Big thank you to August for yet another great dinner experience. Perfect recommendations, excellent timing of courses, never a dry glass even while we were always three deep in beverages, wine, and cocktails. The team here is phenomenal. Well deserving of a very large percentage...More

It had been awhile since I have visited John Howie and once again it did not disappoint. In the past it was so crowded that you just juggled for position but when I visited on a Wednesday after work it was surprisingly comfortable with chairs...More

On my salary, this is not a restaurant I would be able to dine at often. I was fortunate to be given a gift card though and so decided to take my family for my oldest daughters birthday. From the moment we walked in, the...More

Lovely date with the hubby accompanied by two finely prepared, wonderfully aged ribeyes and well-shaken martinis. If this doesn't stoke the flames well the you are doing it wrong. Do not miss this opportunity, you are worth the investment.

Description
John Howie Steak - a downtown Bellevue favorite. Located in the Bravern near 405 (freeway) off of 8th Ave. A great happy hour with a near famous cheeseburger, bar and lounge open till 11pm or midnight. Fine dining in the dining room. Lunch is quite reasonable ($12-$15 entreees) and delicious. Premium steakhouse for lunch meetings, dates or of course any occasion for dinner. Private dining rooms available as well. Catering available. A fine dining restaurant with more casual options for lunch, happy hour, the bar and lounge.
