This restaurant delivers more than good food. It allows you to step back in time with all of the original antiques. The staff encourages you to wander around the house while waiting for your food. There is a dove atrium, gardens with rabbits. We were there in February, so unfortunately, the garden out back was barren. I imagine that it... More

This place started out great but has gone consistently down hill since the beginning for us. Food is good, ambiance is great, but the service is almost non-existent. The last 2 times we tried it we had similar experiences. We took our staff their for lunch and was finally seated after a 15 minute wait. There was no at the... More

Vary small town staff, the food is excellent and there's plenty of history to look at while seated at your table. When you're done eating check out the shops behind the main house and the tiny bar tucked away in the back. Street side parking.

Loved this historic place. Great dinner and ambiance. We expected George Washington to walk in any minute. Pair this with the Trinkle Mansion for a great experience!

THis place is worth going out of your way. We went again and again were very well fed and fun to go there. Its kind of like a Cracker Barrel but the antiques are real and you are in a real 250 year old log cabin. If you go when the weather is good, take time to walk around the... More

Loved the fact that this place was established so early in the history of our country. I appreciated the note on the menu that said if you were looking for fast food that this was not the place you were looking for. The orange chicken was tasty and was accompanied with a friendly staff and waitress. I would definitely go... More

We visited the Log House at the recommendation of our hotel Manager. It is a very historical spot, with a charming history. The service was attentive and the food very tasty, local fare. I highly recommend this spot if you find yourself in Wytheville, Virginia.

One of our favorites! Quiet atmosphere, good food & drinks, and great service. A nice, take your time restaurant. Steaks were cooked perfectly! As close to 1776 ambiance as you can get in the 21st century!!!
