Bring your appetite and be ready to challenge your pallet. Every meal is a culinary delight. I have been to A Chefs Kitchen numerous times and although the stories may repeat this is a true dinning experience ... it last 2 hours and is 5 courses ... 6 of you count the champagne and snacks before the chef gets started!... From the first moment, we were in a gourmet's perfect dream! We were greeted warmly by friendly staff and ushered into a tiered-tabled room of beautiful music played by a very talented pianist and were offered champagne and a variety of small sized, big flavored hors d'ouvres! A lovely atmosphere to chat with other guests and the chefs or visit... More

Dining in Chef's Kitchen is a multi faceted experience. You leave well satisfied having consumed a gourmet meal, but you also have been well entertained for about 3 hours plus you better understand some of the chemistry in cooking. It is not a restaurant you go to every week to have dinner. Instead it is a special event destination. It... More

A scrumptious dinner awaits you as you learn how the professional Chefs develop your five course meal with information on how to pare wine with each course. I have been there twice and will visit In April to celebrate my birthday and anniversary. Book far in advance as it fills up quickly. If nearby check for cancellations. Well worth the... More

One of my favorite restaurants and places to learn in Williamsburg. Make sure you book your reservations well in advance. Chef and owner John Gonsalves serves exquisite recipes and talks about life in Williamsburg and cooking, which make the evening entertaining. Between 7 and 9 you will experience a 4 course meal and 3 glasses of wine (plus a Prosecco... More

Great food, and you walk away with recipes and an idea of how to prepare a similar meal. A preset menu, so check it out before you sign up!

The Chefs shared lots of their knowledge with us. Very intimate with great food. Worth the experience.

This was quite an experience but not totally what I expected. The presentation by the chef with his interesting oration on the dishes he was making was very well done. It was nice hearing why he used certain items/brands in his recipes and entertainment to interest everyone. We were given Hors d'oeuvres and champagne (Blanc De Blanc) when we first... More

The food is prepared well, as the chef explains how they prepare the food. There is opportunity for questions and answers, and this makes it interesting. The wine was very good.

If you ever have the opportunity to experience A Chef's Kitchen, don't pass it up! But make your reservation early, they book up almost 3 months out. Chef and Owner, John, and his Sous Chef, Nick, present the dishes in a knowledgeable and witty manner. The food is scrumptious, such as our cheesy cauliflower chowder and Berkshire pork with pomegranate... More
