Great restaurant in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg. Very busy scene so arrive early if you don't want to wait with the lunchtime crowd. The occasion was a business lunch and although the restaurant is quite busy the host was kind enough to seat us in the back room where the activity and noise wasn't so loud. I enjoyed the... More

While visiting friends in the area, we traveled to Williamsburg. Having been for lunch before, we decided to try for dinner. It was delicious as it had been before. Denise, our server couldn't have been more courteous or attentive. We have never been disappointed with any of the food we have ordered. Wonderful ambiance!

I am forced to modify my previous review. I have eaten here regularly since 2012 when my son entered W&M (my daughter is there now). When I first came here my question was why can't we have a place this good Northern Virginia, so this review is really about how a restaurant wears over time. Blue Talon is co-owned by... More

The restaurant is beautifully decorated but it is a little worn. We went for breakfast/brunch. Coffee was outstanding. I ordered the fried pork loin with poached eggs, white beans and baguette. A little under seasoned but good. My boyfriend had the extremely rich creamed chip beef. There were several items we would like to try so that's a good sign.... More

Waitress was attentive and knowledgeable menu. The French onion soup was favorable and hot. The chicken crepes was over the top delicious. The Philly steak was the best ever. A new favorite restaurant for us to frequent. Unfortunately it is 2.5 hours away or we would become part of the décor.

Our family ate a late lunch here. The staff gets big points for allowing us to eat off the lunch menu prior to their 4:00 pm transition to dinner. (They do not serve food during their transition.) One of us had their Mac and Cheese... Really good! Two of us had the Pressed French Dip sandwich. The horseradish sauce was... More

The best frog legs (french wings) we've ever had! The escargot was fine too. The schnitzel was wonderful. The bed of mixed beans coupled with the breaded pork complemented one another magnificently. The streak frities was also fine. Tender and tasty. The chicken crepe was okay. It wasn't as fine as the appetizers, but it was good. The atmosphere and... More

Over the years my wife and I have visited Williamsburg many times. This visit we decided to try places that had a good reputation on Trip Advisor but we hadn't visited before. Blue Talon was one of those places. We chose a Friday night and did not have reservations. It was crowded but the wait was only 15 minutes. I'm... More

Have had really nice chicken crepes at Blue Talon and tried breakfast. FANTASTIC. Tasty, moist, warm ham bisquits. The Eurpean full brakfast is terrific...grits w/ cheese, toasted baguette, 2 eggs, sauage, bacon and potatos. Everything was perfect.

This was a great restaurant for a nice dinner with conversation, and live music in the background (but at a very comfortable decibel level that did not interfere with conversation). The food was great. I had grilled scallops over asparagus and black rice. Everything was delicious. I would definitely return.
