We ended up in the Marketplace area while visiting Colonial Williamsburg needing a place for lunch. One of our party is a W & M grad and a regular visitor so she led us here to introduce us to the Blue Talon. A full place...More

I let the kids pick out a place and they did a great job, I must say. The atmosphere, food, and service was very good. The staff was very courteous and went out of their way to help us. Excellent food and excellent experience!

Located between william & Mary and historic area. Food was worth the wait and at a very fair price. Staff did a nice job and made you feel welcome.

We loved everything -- the food, the ambiance, the location, the staff. We had an early dinner before a concert. The bread was warm and flavorful, the salad greens were fresh, food combinations interesting. The scallops were a tad overdone but not chewy (I just...More

Thanks for taking the time to share. While I am regularly impressed by the charm and professionalism our staff displays, I am sorry when I learn of someone failing to live up to our standards and their own potential. You can be sure that we...More

There's a story why the chef has a rooster on a leash . . . come to the Blue Talon to experience a unique story and you'll have a conversation topic to share going forward. The sampler board of what one might believe is colonial...More

Whenever we visit Williamsburg for lunch we have a bowl of classic French Onion soup at Blue Talon, and accompany it with a sandwich. This time it was the French dip. Yum. We love the ambiance and have never been disappointed by the food. There...More

We were staying across the road from the Blue Talon so it was an obvious place to start our search for dinner. Unfortunately we arrived too late for dinner our first evening but were directed to their sister restaurant (Dog Street Pub) around the corner...More

Lunch with a dear friend, we share most meals so we can taste as much as possible. The chicken and mushroom crepes were perfect: hot, generous amounts of chicken and mushroom, sauce was flavorful and just the right amount. Crepes were crepes and not chewy,...More

I have never made reservations, and have been very lucky with either a short wait or no waiting time. During busy times, it might be good to make reservations. It is very popular, and worth the wait if needed. Ever meal... More
