A family birthday celebration turned into a gastronomic experience! Wonderful wait staff that met every need. Many different dishes to explore and share cooked to perfection. Prior to our arrival the manager helped secure a special bottle of wine.

The food was extraordinary. The service was impeccable. I have gluten allergies. The waiter suggested the right meal for my dietary needs. We had a $100 gift card. It covered the meal accept for $6 and some change. Would go again when I receive another...More

We came here because it was recommended by a friend. I had the halibut special - and it was SPECIAL. The sauces and seasoning were both incredible and unusual.

I am only giving this establishment 3 Stars because of the lack of change to their menu. The same entrees, maybe with a little twist in vegetables or presentation, but the same entree items. It has become boring and predictable after all these years. The...More

Valentines dinner with my love and good friends. Service was prompt and courteous, (as always!) Food was sublime and delicious, (as always!) Wine and mixed drinks were excellent, (as always!) Of course it's pricey but its worth it.

Fat Canary is an exceptional restaurant - and will offer you a variety of options. Anything you select will meet the highest standards. It is not a steakhouse - I’m in Bangalore and jet lagged. My last response was confusing. More

That's odd, I have been to Fat Canary 3 times and each time our special occasion was recognized.

Description
This high-energy bistro took over as Williamsburg's best restaurant as soon as it opened in 2003. The sophisticated but relaxed dining room has an open kitchen, which uses fresh, local ingredients for its creative American fare. The dining bar and seasonal outdoor patio seating are on a first come basis. Reservations for the dining room are recommended and may be made up to 2 months in advance. Open daily for dinner, a hostess is available during the day to take reservations.
