The food was meh (not at all worth the price), but I didn't have high expectations so that wasn't so much the problem. I brought my three young children for lunch, but we're finishing our food in the car because a kitchen staff member was swearing and being completely inappropriate. The gentleman at the counter appologized but the mouthy kitchen... More

We stop in every time we come to Williamsburg (which is yearly). Food is good, lots of options for burgers. I've never ordered anything but burgers/fries/shakes off the menu, but everything that comes out looks good. Portions could be a bit bigger, but overall a great place to stop for good food!

A good place to stop if you're in a hurry to eat, while touring. The food is average and the inside is a bit noisy.

This is a trip right back to Happy Days and the Fonz. This place often gets overlooked, as it's next to Aroma's, but if you want good "diner grub" this is your place. Hot dogs, pulled pork, fries, really great old-fashioned bottled soda or a really great grilled cheese, tomato & bacon on toast (my personal favorite). You can easily... More

This little restaurant was a nice respite for a weary tourist! All the other restaurants had very long wait lists or require reservations but this place had a short line and a welcoming atmosphere. I had a hot dog & fries (extra crispy!) and they were great. The hot dog is nothing to write home about but it's exactly what... More

BLT, hot ham-cheese, hot dogs and more. Order at counter and eat at limited seating indoors. Not as good as The Cheese Shop nearby but much quicker turn around if you have limited time.

Very busy at lunch time, but they move you throught quickly and efficiently. We stopped for lunch as it is only a few blocks away from C.W.. Food was very good. Seating is limited, but no one stays long, so seats constantly open up. Counter servers were nice, and accurate with the order. We ordered the chili, grilled cheese sandwiches,... More

My wife and I chose Retro's Good Eats because of the opportunity to enjoy a meal of sandwich in a retro setting. The food was delicious and a place we will definitely eat at again when we are in the Williamsburg area.

Looking for a simple, less expensive meal on a chilly night in Williamsburg, we ventured into Retro's. We generally like the retro-themed diners. But the food here just wasn't very good. They were already out of meat chili an hour and a half before closing, so I tried the veggie option, which was a mediocre bean mash-up at best. I... More

My husband and I were really excited to try the burgers, fries, and milkshakes at this 50's themed spot. We were disappointed when our food came out small and flat looking. Everything is a la carte, so if you want fries and a shake with your burger, be ready to pay up. The staff wasn't very helpful or nice. They... More
