It's hard to find Burmese food anywhere, but there's great food here! For those who haven't been lucky enough to try Burmese food before, it's like someone took the best of Thai food and the best of Indian food and combined them into delicious perfection (which I guess makes sense if you look at a map). There are a lot... More

Met a friend for lunch and she had the Sweet Basil Chicken and I had the Green Curry Chicken. Both dishes were delicious, however, as seems to be typical the Green Curry Chicken though noted as spicy was not spicy at all. It seems I always forget to make sure that I ask for a spicy dish to be spicy... More

Brought our very good friends to dinner last Friday and enjoyed the excellent ginger salad, golden finger tempura for appetizers, the chili chicken, gold mountain noodle (mixed by one of the owners) and pumpkin curry, a first for us but excellent. For dessert the semilona cake and burmese farluda was so excellent that one of our friends who does not... More

Don't let the humble strip mall location and basic decor of this restaurant turn you off. The food is amazing. Some of my favorite dishes include their Green Curry Chicken, Lamb Curry, Harvest spring rolls, summer rolls and Singapore Street Noodles with shrimp, although I've never had a meal there that I didn't like. They are very good with carry-out.... More

Love this restaurant, pricy but food quality is always good and tasty. Too bad they do not have fish cake salad anymore, it was my favorite.

This was our first time at A Taste of Burma, but won't be the last. All dishes were delicious, from the appetizers (we had summer rolls and green mango salad) to desserts (a semolina cake and an ice cream with tapioca and almonds). The main course was outstanding. We had the shrimp with green curry and the slow cooked beef... More

We have visited the restaurant every so often with Family and Friends. We got recommended to it by a family member and we dont regret going there. Food is very good it is a little expensive for the amount you do get but taste is very good... Service is sometimes slow - when it has been slow we have waited... More

A friend had recommended this restaurant and so when I came on business to the Virginia area I headed here straight from the Dulles airport. It is about 15 mins away. I ordered the lentil fritters (kind of like pakoras). These were delicious and were made with fresh ingredients and came with a slightly spicy tamarind/mint chutney. Usually fried dishes,... More

Wonderful food. Very tasty. I wish there had been vegetables in the dish. I would definitely come back and would recommend it.

Infused with Indian, Chinese, Thai and indigenous Burmese influences, this is about the best Burmese restaurant in Greater Washington. Their Fermented Tea Salad is very authentic and offers up unique flavors and crunch. Often they will hold back on the genuine combination and intensity of spices unless you ask for it. Crispy fried fish is always a treat here. A... More
