So big and busy that it reminded us of Disney World. The Ozzie Rolls of course are better than any of the apps or entrees, but we splurged on a ribeye that night. Our server was a little green and didn't know the menu, or how to check us out with gift cards, but we got through it, and the dog enjoyed the leftover steak. (It was huge.)

We stopped with friends on a Sunday for an early dinner. We were seated right away. Despite being busy the wait staff was on the mark. Quick service and food was great. A meal for 4 people without alcohol was $99.00 with an appetizer. The burgers were great with shoestring fries. If ever back in the area would return.

We were staying at a Hampton Inn nearby and they gave us this restaurant as one that their guests enjoy. What a great tip! The food was very good and the service was excellent. I had the tuna salad and it was perfectly prepared and the portion was very large. My husband had the pork chop and it came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I would return to this restaurant the next time that I am in the area!

Drawn to this restaurant because of the extensive beer list on their website and positive reviews. Menu had long list of beers on front page and was given to us with no verbal qualifications; even when I said we would need a few minutes to browse beer listing, no comment. When ordering, however, we were told only 8-10 of the listed beers were actually available!!! Server said we should have seen that from their wall-posted board (not within our line of vision and not pointed out to us). Meals were very good and service was just okay, but misleading beer listing will discourage.

First time eating here but our friends recommended this place as it is one of their favorites and has the best crabcakes, and they were right, crabcakes are the best and so is the service. Juan did an excellent job! We waited in the bar to watch the Derby and he walked by us and he remembered our friends' names as they remembered his name too! So requested his area in the dining area. Will definitely go there again while in the DC area.

Good food, good beer, good service, nice decor. We had the smoked salmon and salmon salad for lunch and enjoyed both. The server brought us samples of the beers we were interested in, and we wound up buying a growler of a very good Belgian White. The servers all wore masks, and they are good about socially distancing the diners. The price was $70 before tip, but $30 of that was for the growler and beer, so lunch was a very reasonable $40.

Been years since we visited one of these properties and on a rainy Sunday decided to have dinner. Really surprised as it was packed probably with all of the hotels close by. Seated quickly and Allison was our server and she was very good. Helped of course by staff bringing over what was ordered. For drinks a Riesling and coke. Appetizers our favorite at this chain (Jackson’s etc.) crab fritters and bread ($1) Main course drunken rib eye which was good, I had the roast chicken and subbed French fries for the mash potato. My wife ordered the salmon but found it too salty to eat. WE figured out it was the soy sauce. Allison offered to change the meal which was nice but it was too late to wait. Dessert was the flourless chocolate waffle with vanilla ice cream. Good visit and will probably visit again but try a different fish entrée.

At dinner, the two us us encountered a waitperson who did not come close to providing adequate service. We suspect it was not entirely their fault, but the fault of management instead; the fault of whoever did not see that this person was adequately trained and/or adequately supervised. This waitperson, who is working in an establishment with the word "Tavern" as part of the restaurant's name, said that they "did not really know anything about beer" when asked about a beer featured on the chalkboard. They then proceeded to charge us for the two small sample beers we asked for as an aid to making our selection after they were unable to help guide our beer decision. In the professional world I work in, this would be a classic management failure.

While in this area for a softball tournament in July, we stopped here for dinner. We arrived at 5p and the restaurant was already busy but we were able to get seated right away. Some drinks, apps and meals hit the spot! Prices a little high and portions not bad, but for what you pay, a little more would be good. Our server, Andrew, was excellent! Overall, nice stop and good atmosphere! Good time!

My husband and I went there for dinner. A friend suggested the restaurant, so we thought we'd give it a try. My friend said the drunken ribeye was the best steak he had ever eaten, so I tried it. He was absolutely correct. I'm still thinking about it and am planning our next visit. The salad and baked potato that came with my meal were also incredibly delicious. My husband got the jumbolya pasta dish and said it was amazing as well. You definitely need to try out this restaurant. I suggest getting reservations, especially on a Friday night. We didn't have any, but happened to come at the right time and only waited 10 minutes. We overheard the hostess telling people that came in after us it was an hour wait. It's definitely wort6the wait though.

With Covid protocols being professionally maintained we had a great lunch at Sterling’s Sweetwater Tavern. Our server Kevin was efficient and professional. We had a delicious bowl of Lobster Bisque (could have been bit warmer), Crispy Fish Tacos with Sweet potato fries, and the famous Ozzie rolls ($1 dollar donation towards local Loudon County food charity. We dined inside but next visit we will sit on the very nice bright stone patio with clear plastic sides and heaters.

I took my Mom here for lunch, the apps were bad but the crab cakes were a joke. I tried to speak to the server and then the manager and they treated me like a criminal. The Asian American Manager even after me explaining to him in detail my experience more than once and that the crab cakes were cold ( I put my finger in the middle) of it after my Mom said her were cold he asked me did I eat finish them... so he was just looking at my color not listening to my experience. I will never return...

We just needed a light appetizer dinner and we stopped at "Sweetwater Tavern" because it was close to our hotel. we had a table on the patio which was very nice. I had a beer that was similar to an IPA and my wife had some wine. We decided to each get a bowl of Lobster Bisque soup and an order of "Point Judith Calamari". Service and food were both good. The Calamari was served with a very nice sauce. We have found an restaurant that prepares and serves a Calamari dish will be a good overall restaurant. Our Calamari was excellent and we will prpbably go back for dinner some night when we have more time. Good Stop !!!

Fortunately we made reservations for a Saturday evening since Sweetwater Tavern was filled with people waiting for seats. Although we arrived early, our table was just ready at the reserved time. We had the calamari appetizer (lightly breaded but lots of onions) and a variety of dishes: prime rib (very tender but with thick, plain brown sauce rather than au jus), fish tacos, jambalaya, and chicken salad. Bread and rolls are tasty. Overall food and service were good and prices fair. This is a busy place with packed in booths so dining is far from quiet. Parking lot was also pretty close to full.
