We wanted a special place to celebrate a retirement. This restaurant was so fabulous! They even had a plate set in a stand with " Contgratulations on your Retirement" The food was fabulous and the service was top notch. There was a good selection of German beer and wine. I loved the German outfits the staff wore! There is also... More

Hadn't been here in a while and suggested it to my colleagues for lunch. I had the Bavarian Brats...came with sauerkraut and dumplings/gravy. I asked for an extra side order of red cabbage. Everything was fantastic, really tasty. I'm not an expert on German food but wow loved everything. My chums got a German beef pot roast type thing on... More

From making reservations, to greetings to waitstaff and meal all was done with perfectly. As this was a surprise birthday dinner for Mary, Zum Rhein Garten pulled out all of the stops. Our server was attentive without intrusion and brought our courses at the appropriate times. The musicians shared their time with all of the tables, a beer garten atmosphere.

A group of ten of us gathered here for lunch to celebrate the September birthdays. They had a plate and special glasses for the birthday girls (see photos). Nice touch! Everyone exclaimed how good their food was. Didn't particularly like my Bitburger grapefruit Radler bier, but another lady loved it. Server was attentive given the size of our group. We... More

I am a "foodie", but German cuisine was new to me. The meal was wonderful. The jagerschnitzel was excellent, but the apple cabbage was unbelievable!! I also thought the spätzle had the perfect combination of subtle savory and ever so sweet (nutmeg) notes. The Oktoberfest lager was brilliant. The service was perfect and the bread pudding...I don't care if that's... More

I've eaten here several times and brought my German mother here. She thinks the food is similar to any German restaurant-- I agree. The jäger schnitzel is always good and it was tonight. I sometimes substitute the potatoes which go great with the gravy. This restaurant is very clean. The bathroom is upstairs. Limited parking but I've never had a... More

Went for dinner with business partners and enjoyed a traditional German meal with one of the excellent beers they serve. The service was friendly and prompt, and though we were a small group and had not made a reservation, it was pleasing to see how quickly they accommodated us and the larger parties.

Very Authentic! Live in Germany for over 5 years, LammHaxe was great but in short supply. Staff is very friendly and personable. Beer and Wine is authentic and imported. Felt as if we were back in Germany. .

We held the main dinner of our reunion at the Rheingarten. The patio or Bier Garten was set with tables replete with Marine Corps. colors. The food was wonderful. Some had never had authentic German food, and everyone remarked how wonderful all of it was. Ms. Lenore and Sherry did a spectacular job to make this mile stone a experience... More
