Our family has been coming here for a few years now, my husband and I come weekly now. Being NYers we have eaten in MANY Italian restaurants. This is by far the best in this area and comparable to the best Italian restaurants in New...York. The owner, who is from Italy, and his son do the cooking. Besides being an awesome small family run business, the service is just as good!More

Very disappointed. Pizza barely had sauce and no taste at all. Used to drive from Orange to get pizza here but won't do that again.

Our first time ordering here, but we will never do it again. This is more like DOG Food than Italian! It is so bad that I would not even drop it at the church to feed the homeless because they deserve better. This is food...for the TRASH CAN ONLY! There should be a rating less than 1 star because we literally threw the entire order in the trash! The garlic knots have no cheese and they taste like day old bread. The garlic is packed on to keep you from tasting the stalenish of the bread. The chickens wings clearly are from a third party and arrive frozen and are just heated up. They taste chewy and leftover with a stale thick coating of chewy bread, I am sure they hope you smother them with the ranch dip so you cannot tell how awful they taste. The shrimp scampi did not have any shrimp. I asked to add chicken and the chicken taste like the bags of frozen chicken from costco over spaghetti heavily covered in garlic and lemon to disguise the taste and a watered down white sauce. It was the MOST NASTY dish I ever tasted! I would call it SLOP fit for feeding animals, but they would likely get sick, too. The alleged lobster and shrimp ravioli the seafood was literally invisible! If you cut open the pasta you will see a trace of red liquid to imply there was some sort of lobster juice here at some point and not even a trace of shrimp inside. The alfredo sauce was lumpy and tasteless. More to the flavor of flour paste. IT WAS HORRIFIC! We could not believe that every last item was fit to be thrown in the garbage!!! When I spoke with Angela, who called herself the owner, She argued with me, made no apology for the horrible food, or for leaving the shrimp out of the shrimp scampi. She admitted they do not make the Lobster Ravioli in house they buy it from a third party and heat and serve so she claims no responsibility for what is inside! What???!!! If you advertise it as lobster and shrimp ; then it should be exactly what you claimed it to be on your menu! Why are you selling food that you have no idea what is in it! She offered to replace the missing shrimp from the shrimp scampi, but after tasting all the other dishes it is clear they are clueless on what Italian food taste like or how it's made. When I asked her how she makes it her description was not even close to the most basic shrimp scampi recipe! When I told her how it is made she argued that people make it differently, but it is clear they do not make it all all! And my belief is that any restaurant that is serving this level of garbage for food probably is not up to health service standards. The cooking location is likely as nasty as the food. I think I will contact the Food Health board and have it checked out! If you have money to throw in the TRASH EAT HERE!More

Angela's is an all-time favorite. Their food is consistently good and service is always friendly and efficient. They have obviously worked very hard to protect their diners and staff during the pandemic while providing the same level of excellent food and service as always. My...calzone was great for my dine-in meal with enough for lunch the next day!More

From the minute you walk in the door you know you discovered a gem. Not only is it the best Little Italipan restaurant in Fredericksburg, it has also has some of the best marinated salmon and marinated chicken breast that we've ever had The pleasure...to enjoy. This is not a cookie cutter type of place. It has a very friendly atmosphere -- "everybody remembers your name". Food and atmosphere don't get any better than Angelas Restaurant.More

Enjoyed a pizza here. Pizza was cooked well and tasted delicious. I was a little disappointed in the amount of things the bar/cooler seemed to be "out" of - several of the beers were unavailable. Also out of limes for the appropriate drinks that were...being served - seems like poor planning. Overall, however, the food was very good and I'd return on that basis - but possibly for some takeout instead since the fixings didn't all seem to be there. Hopefully it was just an off night and not the norm.More

Wife and I had a chance to go out for supper. I got the stuffed shells. They were excellent as always. I love any of their pastas. I can’t remember what the wife got. The garlic knots are to die for!! They are delicious.
