Went here for lunch and would have liked more choices. Settled for the B.B. Turkey. There was way too much lettuce on the sandwich and not enough mayo. I should have asked for more mayo so I can't blame them for that. The bread was really good, whole grain. Would like to go back and try their breakfast although that... More

Thank you for your review of our bakery. The reason our menu might seem limited is because we believe in preparing all of our food from scratch so your sandwich had fresh turkey breast roasted in house, mayonnaise made from local farm eggs, and of course fresh baked breads daily. More

We stopped in for breakfast, and we're expecting a working bakery, not a location with everything premade. We ended up having chocolate croissants, which were unexpected, and not what I had planned, but were good nonetheless.

Carrie, I am not sure if you are reviewing the right bakery, if you are, then I am not sure what gave you the impression that what we sell is premade. I would like to extend an invitation for you to come to our bakery to see our our daily production for your self. We have a friendly hard working... More

Bread Craft is a beautiful bakery just two blocks from the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Roanoke. It has beautiful deserts, pastries, breads and gourmet coffee to boot. The best morning you'll have in awhile.

We were passing through, and wanted a really great breakfast. Well, we got it! Found the review on Trip Advisor, and it was very accurate. Fantastic menu for the kind of food and pastries you won't find anywhere else. My husband had the chorizo and eggs, and I had a dish with spinach, feta and a poached egg that was... More

This place had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the sirloin and egg croissant. It came with a side of fresh fruit. The croissant was fresh, big, with the right amount of flakiness. It was amazing! Very clean, all kinds of pastries and breads, and the waitress and cashier were friendly!

What a treat! Delicious bread with interesting breakfast choices. I had a BLT with fried egg on brioche-Yum- great bacon and it came with a little bowl of fruit. My husband had a sirloin sandwich on a croissant. This normally would have had egg but he doesn't eat eggs. Delicious! They smoke their own salmon and have a great selection... More

I had lunch here for the first time today. While I found the menu somewhat small, the half salad I ordered was still quite large, full of toppings and flavor.

Best croissants this side of Paris. Great baguette sandwich with fresh mozzarella prosciutto and a tomato pesto to die for. Salads are pretty darn good too.

Go eat here for breakfast. I'm sure there are other reasons to come here - the bread, the coffee, the letter-pressed cards on sale - but the breakfast we had here was some of the best breakfast dishes we've had in years. The cinnamon bun we started with was the size of my head and ludicrously good, but we ended... More

These guys get up early, because sometimes I get there just as it opens for breakfast, and there ls already a booming business of baked goods (bread, muffins, croissants, quiches) headed to other places downtown. Uniformly good ... great service ... lots of choices ... many of which are made with butter and flour and sugar ... plus good coffee... More

Description
It is our goal to introduce the Roanoke area to our style of baking. There is a simple joy in eating a loaf of bread made fresh daily and not loaded down with preservatives to make it last for weeks as it travels from one part of the country to another. Our bread is fresh and local. The hard crust provides satisfaction of eating something substantial. And the soft yet firm crumb contrasts the mouth-
