This is definitely a locals hangout with great seafood. Nothing fancy and mostly fried, but the food was delicious. A very relaxed place to enjoy a meal and take in the view of the water.

Only local restaurant open for lunch on a Tuesday in May. Soft -shelled crabs in holding tanks by the side of the building, plucked minutes before serving. Ain't fancy and seems to attract a lot of regulars. On the water with inside and porch seating. Great stop on a sunny day.

Four went for dinner. Frogs legs and roasted oyster for apps. Reuban, steak sub, burger and oyster platter for dinner. Very reasonable prices and excellent service. If we lived near here we would eat here often.

An unpretentious dining room in a very picturesque setting in Reedville harbor. Very well prepared and varied menu with fish and seafood the main focus. One of the best fresh fish sandwiches on the Bay.

A laid back place for a quick bite and a drink or two. When my son was alive, this was his go-to spot. The food is good. The atmosphere is strictly casual. And the locals are friendly.

Fairport Marina Restaurant (real name Leadbelly's) is perhaps one of the best values on the Northern Neck, or at least Northumberland County. If you are looking for haute cuisine, this is not the place. The restaurant is very rustic, but the food is a great value. We are transplanted the area and Leadbelly's has become our weekly go to place.... More

Two couples on a Friday night. One couple ordered the hamburger steak with onions and gravy. The other ordered the frog legs-served spicy. The hamburgers were great-one had baked potato and one had french fries. The frog legs were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. One dinner had butter beans and collards. Both vegetables were great. It's... More

We have eaten at the Fairport Marina a couple of times lately. Tina is back in the kitchen and the so is the flavor. Her butterfly shrimp are excellent and for $20.00 you get a dozen and two sides. They are large shrimp and enough to split with someone. Friends with us had steak, hamburger or shrimp and scallop pasta.... More

Decent cheap food, but out of the way for what they offer. It is on the water.
