Overall very good especially the service. Crab cakes were small for the price. We were expecting better value.

We visited the Magnolias at the Mill restaurant at the recommendation of Trip Advisor during the recent Virginia Home and Gardens Pilgrimage and we agree with the earlier reviews. The restaurant is more casual than we thought as it features a big bar side with lots of TV's and a dinner side. The entire restaurant is a repurposed old mill... More
Wow, this place was amazing! My husband and I can't stop raving about our wonderful experience. We went there to celebrate my birthday. We were seated immediately. Our server, Rob, made us feel so welcome. He was very knowledgeable and gave us some spot on recommendations. We didn't bring our toddler, but he even invited us to bring our toddler... More
We are visiting the area for a wedding and got a recommendation for this spot from locals. First, they had me at the great, not sweet, cocktail: basil grapefruit martini. It is rare to fine a cocktail not loaded with simple syrup. We talked to the gentleman who served our wine and he mentioned that they infused their own vodkas.... More
Stopped at Magnolia's yesterday for a wonder spring lunch outside on their charming patio. Great food, excellent service and a beautiful space. Magnolia's is at the end of the paved portion of the WO&D bicycle trail, and we often make it our destination for when we ride out this way. The food is truly exceptional and they have a great... We were taking my granddaughter back to college. We stopped for something to eat before going to her dorm. By chance we stopped at Magnolias. We had excellent fresh to the table food, a wonderful waiter, Alex and would be happy to go back again. Next time you are in Purcellville, you will not be disappointed.
We were in the area and wanted a decent meal, so we stopped by on a Sunday evening and we were able to get seated right away (as a group of 3). The server was very pleasant and attentive, as were the other staff. They have a nice menu, loaded with many tasty, unique entrees and other food options. They... More
We stopped off for lunch at Magnolia's and took advantage of the perfect weather to eat outside. The outdoor dining space is charming and the service and food exceeded our expectations. I ordered the grilled chicken and beet salad which was amazingly fresh and beautifully presented. My husband had the grilled hanger salad which he pronounced as being "one of... More
We have been there before and really enjoyed it. It is a friend of ours'birthday on April 9th and we would like to come in that night. It would be for a party of four and we wondered if you know the specials yet or is there a new spring menu?
