After a day of wineries by bike, we wanted to finish with a great dinner. After researching thanks to Tomato, i picked this little gem and it was a hit for the whole crew. Indoor/outdoor alfresco style dining, we sat on a picnic style bench outside. Service was prompt and friendly throughout the night, even accommodating us with takeaway coffees... More

Until tonight my favourite meal was elsewhere. Pinocchio has usurped that entirely. From the magnificent prawn entree to the magnificent beef and wonderful wonderful pinacotta the food in the restaurant was absolutely magnificent. In this town of great food this restaurant stands head and shoulders above the others. Our group of 10 was overwhelmingly taken with the standard of food.... More

We had dinner here, it was very surprizing, nice, very tasty food, looks awesome. Small but nice, they even made great food for the kids, not just boring burgers& chips. The burgers & chips were awesome kids loved it, Staff were very good, but there was a bit of a wait for everything ,but when you did get something it... More

Food did not reach expectations of menu. Specifically asked for no mustard/spice in food because of allergy, but still got mayonnaise in the dish.

Reservation made before visiting. Booked early dinner and pleased we did as a large group activity happening at same time. Seated out in the courtyard which was perfect for a balmy evening. Very attentive staff, did get the feeling we were being rushed through though. Unsure if there was later dinner seating. Food was incredible. Not a huge selection but... More

Called in here after the Martinborough Fair, wanting to fill in a bit of time before meeting friends. Staff were very accomodating seeing they were fully booked that night however we weren't staying long, & put us at a table outside in their courtyard; interesting spot to watch the world go by. Ordered a Pork Rillette entree which was like... More

Lunch with a group. Menu was excellent for my tastes but I felt it was a little expensive for quite small helpings. They had had a big day the day before our visit so there was limited supplies of light beer, and a couple of our group's orders failed to materialise. Overall not the best experience on that particular day.

First time here with a work reunion. Had a $75 pp set menu and my goodness...well worth it! Ordered coconut prawns & beef cheek for entree, both had duck leg for main and affogato & chocolate terrine for dessert. It's very rare for us that all courses hit the mark but these certainly did...of course for the price you'd expect... More

We celebrated my friends birthday there with dinner over the Martinborough festival weekend. Great atmosphere and loved the open space and indoor/outdoor flow. The food was fantastic. Even though there was no vegetarian option on the menu, the chef managed to whip us up a delicious meal. Will definitely go back!

We dined in Pinocchio's on our first night in Martinborough. It was an excellent experience. We received a warm welcome on arrival and helpful advice on both the food and wine. In particular, we were keen to try a good local wine. The waitress recommended a new Winery, Grava, that was completely unknown to us. It was good advice. We... More
