If you want a good ocean view meal away from the tourist hustle of Lahaina and Kaanapali, travel 10 minutes north to the Honua Kai resort. Duke's is a corporate store, but that insures a consistency in food and service. Always good breakfast, lunch, dinner...More

We were outside with a nice music performed live by a very good singer/ acoustic guitarist and her partner. Her partner played what looked like a base-tuned ukulele? Food very good, as was the atmosphere.

We didn't get a chance to return for dinner but we were sufficiently impressed by happy hour (our litmus test before making dinner reservations) that we had hoped to! The staff was very attentive, the drinks were some of the most flavorful of our trip...More

Great for young families on the beach. Very convenient and large space. Went at breakfast time for pancakes and fried rice. If you want a little more subdued atmosphere go at dinner time. Fried rice came out nearly cold. Sent it back. Young staff but...More

Enjoyed a number of entrees at the restaurant, as the sun set over the ocean. Very good wait staff and we were allocated a great table.

We were always a big fan of Kimos but once Dukes Beach House opened, we have really not wanted to go back to Kimos. It's nice to walk to this restaurant from our resort and walk back.

During our meal, they had the "back" portion of the restaurant sectioned off for a special event. Don't know the type of event, but there was certainly more than 40 people, I would safely guess. They have a very casual... More

Most of Duke's restaurant is open air including the bar. There are areas that are more protected probably helpful during a rainy day. Virtually all the tables have a view of the ocean. Hope this helps.
