We were extremely impressed with our dinner at the Black Spruce Restaurant. The views are wonderful, with big windows on each side of the restaurant to create a well-lit place to eat, with views of the mountains and water creating a very relaxing ambiance. Either side of the restaurant has great views. The food was delicious, and we all ordered... More

We ate here while staying at the inn. We enjoyed the seafood chowder to start and then the cod. Both were very nice. We ordered the duff dessert and although it was nice to try, it was like having a muffin. most tables can see the water from various angles. The dining room windows do not face directly on the... Thank you for your review. Our Figgy Duff is a baked pudding so I can see how it could resemble a muffin. Served with our homemade Sea Buckthorn and molasses sauce, it is one of our most popular desserts. Thank you for dining with us. More

We had room service from this restaurant two nights. The food was wonderful. Between us, we had four different main dishes, and it was all ideal. We also had picnic lunches packed by the restaurant two different days, also terrific. All breakfasts were also served in this restaurant. The choices were excellent and delicious, the wait staff attentive and friendly.

Was here on a private food tour for apetisers. The ambiance is great, very Swiss chalet style and modern paintings. Food and wine menu were good and we had potato cumin soup , handmade pasta and a fish dish. Food was good and plattered in style. The Chadonay was smooth as well. An upmarket dining experience overlooking the waters in... More

Seafood risotto excellent. Halibut superb. Chocolate brownie with ice cream, superb. Wine reasonably priced. View from our table was ocean watching.

This little gem is a bit off the beaten path, but it's worth the find. Both the halibut and the seafood risotto we ordered were delicious. The staff is pleasant and the view is terrific. After a few days of basic meals in Gros Morne, this was a welcome change.

Having had an enjoyable stay at Neddies Harbour and good meals at the accompanying Black Spruce restaurant in 2015 we went back again this year to both stay and eat. We were happy to find that the food quality had not changed and was good enough to eat there both nights which was very welcome after long days hiking. Good... More

The food is more expensive than other places in the gros morne area, but you get what you pay for. Had the seafood risotto ($30) that contained scallops and pieces of lobster. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for something above average. This is better your typical local diner / family restaurant.
