We love eating here and have never had a bad experience. We have been twice in the past 2 months and are planning (if all goes well) to pop back again this weekend.

A charming little restaurant right in the middle of town on the lane to the castle. Exceptional service and great choices from all over the world. Very tasty. Highly recommended.

What a find. Very friendly service, a large range of dishes - freshly cooked. I particularly liked the lamb bhuna. And the banana milkshakes were very very generous. We'll be going back this Friday for lunch.

We'd heard good things about this place and decided to book at the last minute for an early dinner with our toddler. We were made to feel at home immediately and the owner rushed to get books/ toys to amuse our little one. The menu...More

We visited again last night and yet again everything was spot on. We visited for my wife's birthday, and as it was out of season it was quieter than other times we visited. This added to the experience as there was a very relaxed vibe...More

Returned here once again, knowing what to expect. The food is always good, well cooked and tasty. We chose the bacon and brie pannini, delicious as always. Not many tables, so we always book our space before taking a stroll around this interesting little town.

Daytime its a small cafe, evenings a small bistro with a wide and eclectic menu. Make sure to book for the evening. Good food, friendly and helpful people, lovely environment.

Having read all the great reviews we wanted to test the water this evening and it delivered on every level (did not manage a pudding as was full from the hearty meal but looked and sounded scrumpy)

Description
We are a very small bistro behind the clocktower in the market town of Newcastle Emlyn, serving a range of food from filled Spanish baguettes and breakfast to an eclectic range of Thai and Asian food at lunchtimes and in the evenings. We like to give everyone a warm welcome and, as we have only 5 tables, booking is advisable in the evenings. We use only quality ingredients, organic where possible, and all of our chicken is free-range and locally sourced. Come and visit us and you will see that we have something for everyone...
