We decided to give this place a try on a cold winter's evening. We rang and booked a table which was absolutely not necessary as we were the only people in the restaurant! The service from the charming gentleman couldn't be faulted but our main...More

Thank you for visiting us I appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We have certainly found recently, as most restaurants have, that dinners are shunning restaurants in cold weather especially on week days and even the lure of an open fire is...More

Adult family lunch for 6 on Saturday 10th March. We had pre lunch drinks in the very cosy bar by an open fire. The main dining room is classically modern with lovely views. The food was beautifully presented and the friendly staff very attentive without...More

Thank you for your praise and it was a delight to look after you. Sitting by an open fire on a wet Saturday always sets the tone for a lovely day. We change our menu around often to reflect seasonal produce and before long will...More

We decided to book here for a Sunday birthday lunch having really enjoyed Mothers Day lunch here last year. The restaurant looked warm an inviting with the beautiful dark wood and sheepskins. The menu had a good selection of dishes, all bar one ordered the...More

A delicious meal from start to finish. The bread rolls were lovely, the smoked salmon starter was divine and the wagu steak was cooked to perfection. Really recommend this brasserie and will definitely be going back.

We ate here as a family of four, having read great reviews and living very close to it. The restaurant was not full (just 2 tables). The evening flowed well, and the food was, in the main, delicious (the rice pudding for dessert was the...More

We had a terrific meal here, I only wish we’d found it sooner! Super tasty food with a South African slant, the menu although reassuringly not vast was imaginative and I was unusually spoilt for choice. The wine list has wines from their own vineyard...More

A fantastic meal with brilliant service. Our waiter really made it fun. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. It wasn’t cheap, 3 course meal for 4 with 2 bottles of wine was £200, but we all agreed it was excellent value.
