Ex wetherspoons pub but still retains the wetherspoons values of dishing out cheap drinks in a friendly venue...a pint of carlsberg and a pint of john smiths will be a total of £4:45.. burger and a drink is 1p shy of a fiver...fast friendly barstaff..clean tables..cannot fault the place .

Have been to this pub dozens of times now, 3 or 4 times since it changed hands. Have eat here and never had a problem. Portion sizes beat there predecessor. The breakfast is particularly good. Beer prices very competitive. Will always eat here when in the area.

I was reading the reviews on here and was starting to feel put off about getting some food. Hunger got the better of me and I went for the Friday fish deal - fish and chips with a drink for £6.27. It was generous, hot and hit the spot! Not everyone can afford to go for cordon bleu meals. This... More

I have just had a suft and turf meal and being a chef It was the worst food I have ever had. I was supposed to get a 8oz rump steak well all I can say it was very very poor I don't know if they're using cheap meat's or the kitchen staff are bad but the so called rump... More

I have lived a stone's throw from this venue for many years and never been inside. Attended in September for a local night out and was pleasantly surprised. The venue has free parking around the back, large dining area, high ceilings, bright and ample seating. The laid back concept was perfect for a mid week local meal and a chance... More

A nice and relaxed setting to enjoy a meal and a few beers, whist watching their Sports channel. The service along with the food, is fair to medium as the menu is fairly standard. The venue has a good atmosphere on big match days, however, even during the hustle and bustle you can still get served within a respectable period... More

If you go thinking you will be getting a good Witherspoons meal forget it. Under new management and they could not even microwave a lasagne! Quality has gone down the pan!!!!

If you're after a decent pub with different ales and good grub, this isn't the place. Instead go over the A10 into Enfield Town or Southgate. Such a shame that under new managed post Wetherspoons the new owners haven't done anything to change the character of the place. A wasted opportunity where such an interesting building could have inspired something... More
