Great place, lovely food

First dining in experience after a pervious takeaway. Service was a tad on the slow side but we didn't mind as we were catching up over a beer (take your own) food was delicious. Lovely evening. We will definitely return soon.

A great evening.

We already know the food is great as we regularly order takeaway from them so we decided it was time to pay the restaurant a visit. We didn't regret it. The decor is traditional , cosy, clean and tidy. It's deceptively big inside with seating for, I'm guessing, around fifty people. From the moment we walked in we were made very welcome by the entire staff who were friendly, cheerful and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, including adapting dishes to personal taste such as reducing the heat in a curry. I'm giving a special mention to 'Sunny' who informed us it was his first night working there but we wouldn't have known it as he was confident, chatty, professional and treated us like we were the centre of his universe. We had a great evening, chatting and joking with the staff and left feeling full, happy and with smiles on our faces. You can't ask for more than that.

Best Indian Restaurant in Cannock

It is an absolute gem of a restaurant. Went for family birthday on banquet night. Restaurant, food, staff outstanding. Clean surroundings, beautiful food, lots of choice and staff will recommend if need help with menu. Staff attentive to needs going above and beyond to make experience memorable. Banquet night is £12.95, starter,main, rice or nan, quality food, large portions. Definitely go again and again, keep up great work 🫶

Worth a try

I have been trying to find a decent Indian takeaway for a while now so although it's not very local to me I thought I'd give it a try. Ordered chicken jaipur, Rogan Josh, mushroom pilau rice and chips. Have to say both curries were very nice and so was the rice. My only criticism of this place is the chips were only half a bag and could have been better(seemed like they had been reheated) and no free poppadoms.

Fantastic New Restaurant

We were excited to try this new Indian restaurant last night as it is local to us and looked impressive on driving past. On arrival we were warmly greeted. The decor and layout of the restaurant was first class. After being spoilt for choice with the menu, both the starter and the main courses we chose were delicious. The portions were not only plentiful, but were absolutely outstanding. We cannot fault the restaurant in any way as the staff, the food and the atmosphere were excellent. We cannot wait to return to what will now become our local Indian restaurant. We wish the new owners and staff every success.

Disappointing take away

Got a take away as they’re usually great. However I don’t know if they’ve changed chef or supplier recently but the chicken in all of our dishes was tough and dry. So much do that we picked it out and didn’t eat it. We will give them one more chance in the hope this was just a blip but if now will be on the lookout for a new place to order from

Delicious food, friendly staff

Decided to go here based on goog maps reviews. Was not disappointed. Really delicious food with fresh ingredients. The staff were really attentive and they were really helpful in hiding and bringing out a birthday cake for my Mum at the end of the meal. Would highly recommend.

Excellent staff and wonderful food well worth the visit

We have had a couple of takeaways & decided to make the effort and go to the restaurant, wow we wasn’t disappointed , the service was 100% couldn’t wish for better. The food was excellent, presentation was amazing couldn’t wish for better. The only negative is “why haven’t we tried it before” compliments to the chef and all the staff

Late Delivery

Ordered a takeaway as they got good reviews. However despite over an hour on the delivery time on order they were still late. I don't care how good the food is, if they can't deliver on time, then they aren't any good.

First visit to a new local Indian restaurant

We were excited to try this restaurant. Due to lockdown it had to be a takeaway. Beautiful food .Lovely restaurant, although not in use at present. Excellent value, generous portions. Pleasant staff. Food was well packaged and kept hot.

Tasty Takeaway

We were staying in temporary accommodation in Hednesford and in need of a treat. The reviews this place already has are well deserved as we had a lovely takeaway. It was exactly what we requested, on time and delicious. We would happily recommend and use again.

This restaurant is unrated! Tucked in a small area in cannock yet one of the best Indians we have visited..Clean, Stylish and lovely seating.. Our waiter Sunny was pleasant and very welcoming. Served us amazingly. All staff very friendly. Food delicious and totally would come back. 100% recommended 👌 💕

A culinary gem

This is a local culinary gem. Lovely delicious food. Staff are really friendly and courteous. I’ve had a few takeaways now and I cannot fault the food and service. Delicious authentic Indian food. I’ve not eaten in yet but I can’t fault the takeaway. So can only imagine the food and experience eating in would be amazing !!

An interesting gem

5 star experience. The food was top class and the service was fast and efficient. I’ve never seen a sommelier in an Indian restaurant before but was pleasantly surprised to find one here, providing us with an expert 2022 vintage gui néss from an Irish vineyard, which I incorrectly thought was a mellow golden yellow forté bow from a Hereford brewery. 10/10 will return
