Lovely food in an informal atmosphere. Attentive staff who are always on hand to help you decide what to have if it's hard to choose from the great freshly prepared dishes. Good wine list too

We try to meet at Burrs about 4 times a year. We are old fussy isle of wighters and if the food was not good we would not go back as many times as we do ,!! It's like being in at a friends house...More
We had a fantastic meal at Burr's. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. My crab brulee starter was delicious. We both had the ginger tiramisu for pudding and it was absolutely delicous.Lots of choice on the menu . A meal here never disappoints.
8 of us dined there last week. It has a very nice feel, as if you are in someone's home and the food was really good. (Try the king prawns). Friendly staff and good service. I would certainly go back.

Our visit to Burrs was for the first time to celebrate a special occasion. We were well looked after from the onset and made to feel welcome. Each course came with us all getting meals at the same time (always a good sign of care)...More
We visited family in Newport so we stopped for dinner I'm glad we booked as it was so busy we probably wouldn't have got a table. We both had plaice baked with crab Brulee it was amazing and it doesn't matter how busy it gets...More
