Found Vicus by chance through a search, but it is a lovely restaurant with great, sophisticated versions of Catalan classics. Wines choice is broad and we had a great local white. Service is flawless. Food is delicious.

It gives me no pleasure to write a critical review when the owner and his wife try so hard, but I must be objective in my comments. Firstly the location outside the old town is helpful in respect of a large free adjoining parking lot....More

Dear customer, We really appreciate your opinion. We are sorry you didn't find 'cosy' our dining room and the temperature of the starter wasn't the right one. We will of course take into consideration your comments. In relation to the organic boneless lamb from Cal...More

An amazing restaurant with a very cosy and quiet atmosphere. The meals were fantastic, and so fresh and (as the waiter/owner) advised us, all the ingredients were sourced locally. After our wonderful dinner we were even given small 'treats' to finish as a token of...More

Would definitely recommend this restaurant. It isn't in the old town but it didn't matter at all once you were inside. The service was excellent and the food even better. There were some 'alternative' food options, such as the pigs trotter carpaccio however it was...More

We got there without reservation, but got table within 5 min. Place is chic, modern, food is unforgettable, service is top notch. Wine was incredible. After lunch we asked for kitchen tour. Cannot wait for the next year to visit this place again

Probably the best meal of a one-week trip. Starter of cockles, courgettes and citrus fruit, mains of rice with langoustines and allioli and slow roast lamb with Cami de Cormes Samso 2012 from Roig Parals, probably the best wine of the trip. Very attentive staff.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Lunch for 5, with three courses around €300, including wine, coffee and desert wines (which were mostly local and of good quality). Amuses bouches and petit fours included. All the food presented was interesting and intriguing and based on...More

We happened upon the restaurant at lunchtime and it was a real treat. The space itself was lovely and the food was delicious. We were there during the annual "rice festival" and learned about the local rice production. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted great.

We arrived in Pals as two vegetarians, and after how accommodating Barcelona had been to us, were brought back to reality with a bang regarding the lack of options! I looked on tripadvisor and Vicus' reviews were good, so I called them, informing them of...More

I walked in and felt like I was in an art deco era dining room. The tiles on the floor and the bar area had vintage appeal while the other parts were dolloped in black and gray for a modern contrast. There were several menu...More
