The couple who run this place were very friendly and served very good food ,it was good value for money, the portions were enough. The prices for the drinks and food were very competitive, the place was spotless and if the locals go in, which they do ,then that was good enough for us.Will return next year ,a nice little gem,pleased... This is an experience: between tourists from the hotel opposite (bad food?) and locals coming in for a short break at the bar, you get delicious fresh seafood with traditional salad and fries at a very fair price. It stayed unclear if the pool was just for hotel guests ;-) we would always go back for a lunch.

I just love the couple that own and run this Place. Typical homemade Spanish food. Very good for breakfast, lunch or cheap late dinner.

Super friendly staff there, very helpful and funny. My friend and I ate a mixed paella for diner, and it was really well cooked and very tasteful. Definitely recommended!

No good Food, but frindly Service. You can Go there to get a drink, but not to eat. The Charcuteri was verry pour standard, and the cheese was pre Cut. Oh No the soupe was way to salty and did not Taste og anything. A shame with the Food, bacsuse the staff was verry frindly.

This place had a very relaxed atmosphere and we ate here most lunchtimes during our 11 night stay at the nearby hotel. Staff friendly & helpful, and made great efforts to understand what we wanted. Several times we were given melon & a lemoncello -style drink on the house at the end of our meal. We found the meals to... More

We popped in for a drink the first night we arrived as it is round the corner from our hotel. Lovely staff, great sangria and we returned for food which was also great. The owner is lovely, the bar is nice and relaxed, the staff are very friendly.

Can Tomeu is one of those last restaurants remaining in Portocolom with the ancien taste of east Majorca cooking. Tomeu the owner born 1943 is extraordinary healthy and active with the old style behavior with customers of those pioners in turism. Always ready to offer for free a local fruit o a local shooter drink just to be sure that the tourist feel the real taste of the island Maria her wife born in 1945 represents the cooking tradition, always working with season produts especially majorcan lovely summer vegetables & fruits. Also meat & fish selectet from the best local farms & fisher boats. Helpfully reinforced with two womens in the chitchen & other two young waitresses. If you want to avoid fusion meals & extortionate first coast line prices. Can Tomeu is a restaurant not to loose.
