Exceptional. From the ambiance, to the incredible service with the manager giving amazing descriptions of the food to the food itself. We ate here twice on our 7 day holiday and both times we couldn’t fault it. The flavours were some of the best we have ever had in a meal out. This restaurant makes all the other in the area look terrible! Make sure you book.

This place truly deserve 5 stars. Fresh and tasty food (we had dorado), very attentive service. We truly enjoyed! Must also admit that it was most child-friendly restaurant we visited over a week there! Again, truly recommend!

We stopped here early evening and were warmly welcomed. Good tapas. The main meals also look good. Compared to the harbour prices this is great value and should be on your exploring trip.

went in for dinner one night and decided to go back the following night, we took a table with 2 seats and waited on the server coming to take the order, without even greeting us she rudley said you cant sit there its a table for 4, we pointed out that only 2 chairs were there and that we sat there the previous night, she had served us that night too,she got rather annoyed and told us no its a table for 4 so we got up and left, staff ok when its not busy but when they are under pressure and place is full they are not very nice,

A friendly welcome awaits you here. A varied menu with lots to choose from is offered. We opted for Prawn in olive and garlic sauce alongside bread with garlic sauce and olives, both lovely. A St Peter fish with some tasty tapas was our options for the mains, again no complaints here, both very fresh and very well cooked. The fish was light and flaky and the taps were varied and well thought out. A great chef here obviously who actually came out and asked customers if they were having a nice meal, a nice touch.

So many reviews refer to the German ambience! So what? We received a lovely welcome and the service was excellent. The food was of the highest quality and had touches of originality. We can highly recommend it and will certainly return on our next visit.

Happened upon this restaurant at the sleepy time of day, but seven of us were welcomed and we enjoyed such a pleasant lunch in the shade of their patio! Most had the three course "Menu" for 11€ and raved about the bacalao with vegetables and potatoes. They were also presented with some flourish. I had Gambas al Aljillo, a standard of Spanish fare, and it was seriously the best I have had in seven trips to Spain. Damn good gambas. The German aspect of the restaurant - to which several reviews refer - was evident in the signage and the wait staff, and in the cucumber salad...but this had no bearing on the quality of food and experience that we enjoyed. It may have enhanced it. Enjoy!

Having been visiting Colonia sant jordi for 11 years, this was our first visit to The restaurant Sa foganya. It had been recommended by friends as a place to go for a good meal. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and every element of the evening was fantastic. The menu is varied and has some unusual dishes. We chose 2 starters - a feta cheese, bacon and honey dish and gambas in garlic and chilli - both amazing! The restaurant offered a couple of specials in addition to the main menu - we chose 2 specials - beefsteak with garlic on top served with creamed potatoes and side salad and an Asian style beef dish with noodles. Both were excellent. Our friends ordered from the main menu - pork skewers in a whiskey cream sauce. The home made tiramisu and Baileys panacotta were delicious. The service was excellent and we will definitely return.

What a lovely, friendly, romantic restaurant. The food was great. We shared a glorious take on baked goat cheese, sweetened by honey sauce and salted by capers and olives, with plenty of heat, served with a wonderful basket of chewy bread. Then I had the truly marvelous pasta special, penne with shrimp, wilted greens, and tomatoes. And a glass of a marvelous local red. My husband loved his hearty tuna steak and potatoes. We said no to dessert but were still spoiled with a shot of local herbal anise liqueur and small squares of a caramel like cake. Our waiter was tremendously friendly and personable. Bring cash -- prices are very fair but they don't take credit cards.

Went for dinner at this restaurant and was disappointed that just about everything was written in German the waiters were German and so we're all of the customers at the time. I love this when I go to Germany but not when I was expecting a typical Mallorcan bar. Having said that the food when it finally came was superb , elegantly served and presented. It was also excellent value for money. Would recommend the bacalao (cod) On the downside the aircon was switched off and the ceiling fans were totally ineffective in the sweltering heat. I'm not a fan either of cats walking around and sitting on the bar and going in and out of the kitchen.
