We did not want to go back across the river so we took a suggestion to go here. It had a poorly presented menu with the difficult stuff not translated into English. The speed of service was such that you realized the management had cut staff customer talking down to the min.Food order taking and keep moving was the name... More

A local guide indicated this place for us to have lunch. It's an oldfahioned restaurant, with greasy food. My son wanted to have lamb and the waiter said that he would have just half portion. As my son is was not that hungry we said ok to the half portion, When it arrived it was a pile of bones... we... More

They add 3 coffees at the end of the bill! We were 4 and we had 7 coffees, after 5min of arguments they admitted that there was a mistake. If you read this add just go to the next restaurant this kind of attitude is unacceptable. Plus the food was not particularly good.

You will get great service and awesome traditional food from the northern region of Portugal. Ingredients are fresh, olive oil is great and the taste is delicious. The dessert buffet is incredible, but expect to pay accordingly. Can only recommend.

We were almost 20 people.Food apart , it is a very suitable place for groups travelling together. The rustic style with varied entries and all the desserts almost made the main course dispensable. It was easy to choose a suitable wine. A must to go there. We came back for a 2nd visit with a smaller bunch of people and... More

An unambitious choice which suited our need for a meal at affordable prices in a location convenient to the centre . The seating outside was very adequate although the proximity of an occasionally busy quay-side road meant occasional disturbance. Staff were helpful and made good recommendations. Food and wine very much what we expected.

We had the clams, the portugeese cheese platter and cabbage soup and the were all fantastic! The bread, olives and house white wine were also great!

Tourist trap (not worth the money). Service was oh so slow (enough time to knit a sweater). Food was cold and quality was poor.

We went there on a july sunny week day for lunch. We noticed the tables outside were empty but we didn't think much of it. I wanted to invite my Canadian friend to taste some is the Portuguese tapas for which I thought this restaurant was well known for. As we sat down, the waiter served us water, olives, cheese... Oh if you stop in Porto, you really have to go to this restaurant, it is just by the Augusta Port Showroom. The food was EXCELLENT, really good and well cooked. The waiter was amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable. We would certainly go to this restaurant again, when we go back to Porto.
