I've come here for the Sailor (knockwurst and pastrami) for years. Always great. The service is always friendly and attentive. Thanks all.

Danny's Deli has been around forever. It is "hidden" in a strip shopping center in the Hilton section of Newport News. They offer a wide variety of soups, sandwiches and sides (along with some yummy desserts). Its a no-frills place (wooden booths and tables, one...More

Located in historic Hilton Village, this is a favorite of long time residents. No one is a stranger at Danny's! The food is above average fare. Affordable. Comfortable.
The wait staff is attentive. We had a late lunch. The diner was not noisy. I had the chicken wrap special with homemade sauce. Yummy. Get off the beaten path and visit this restaurant. You will not be sorry.
The chicken salad is wonderful....very fresh and always tasty. the pickles on the table are an added plus and the desserts are always delicious. A Rueben sandwich is another treat at Danny's
Danny's is one of our favorite lunch spots. Tucked away in an older shopping center, Danny's serves reliably good sandwiches and salads, with a bowl of crispy pickles for a starter. Their Reuben is classic and their seasonal homemade chicken salad is another locals' favorite.
A Business related lunch with people. I like finding places off the main path. Service was excellent the pickles immediately take the edge off of hungriness. Food overall was hot and well portioned. Fries and potato salad delicious. Not a place I'd go if not...More
Delicious sandwiches, home made pickles, friendly atmosphere, polite service, senior discount on Mondays!
I have visited Danny's for years and have tried most everything they have. I have never had a bad experience. The food is outstanding and the pickles are great. If you are in the area then do yourself a favor and give Danny's a try.
