Beautiful cozy atmosphere with very hospitable and kind hosts, warm and friendly service. Excellent for cheese fondue, raclette and the creme brulee is done right at your table and is beautiful! Best restaurant at La Plagne!

Ad hoc family visit with 8 of us at "English" tea time (i.e. 6:30), we were welcomed by the host and given a great table with plenty of space. As we were the only customers at the time, service was very quick and efficient, but beautifully welcoming and friendly, accomodating our rough French skills as well as converting to English... We visited on our chalet night off and had a brilliant time. Classic French menu cooked very well and the best fondue I've had! Monique and George make you feel as if you are guests in their home and couldn't have been more generous- producing an extra steak as the first one "looked a bit too small"! A memorable evening... We have been eating in La Plagne for twenty years. The food and wine list at the Harlequin is the best in the area. The hosts Monique and George are charming and both speak English. Lovely sun terrace for lunch, but at its best inside in the evening. Priced appropriately (not cheap), but very good value

Excellent food with great service. Very polite and helpful staff. The food was outstanding and one of the best restaurants I've eaten in.

I should have left this review in February 2016 as that is when I went. I am looking up a few places as I am returning in a couple of weeks and this place is definitely on the list. George and his wife have two places there (well they did) so we visited a few times for both lunch, coffee... More

Recommended to us by friends, and after a slightly hesitant start (before the intervention of the owner of 35 years) we were not disappointed. The red wine recommendation was excellent (he even got more when we drank him dry), and to cap it all even the mystery cider eventually appeared. Food was excellent: fondues, steak, sea bass, lasagne and risotto... More

As a seasonaire I visited twice during the season when my partner visited and both times were phenomenal. The standard of food is exceptional; every mouthful was amazing. The interior of the restaurant is quaint and full of charter and the staff are wonderful, full of good humour. Will definitely plan to revisit in the future
