We ordered the Cote de boeuf for 2 to share. A delicious rib eye steak. Cooked to perfection and worth the 50 euros! Seems to be a speciality and we were not disappointed. The staff are really friendly and made our 2 young children feel very welcome, especially Magaly! Thank you.

Ate at this bistro at end of long walk around St Martin. Welcome and service good but good variable. Bavette ordered à point came well done and looked scraggy. At €22 both overcooked and overpriced. Starter of mushroom tart with Parmesan shavings little better although my partner's swordfish was good.

We stumbled across this place during a trip around the Ile. We arrived at 12 and the place was quite busy, always a good sign ! It was really something special, food, wine and service all excellent and a nice buzz about the place Would recommend the' tarte au citron meringuée if you have any room after the very generous... Great location in the port and a super place to eat. Not a huge choice but what was available was superb. Well priced, we will be back.

A perfect French bistro, breakfast of coffee etc to watch the world go by, and dinner twice for a good menu of delicious classic food, from steak to fish, salads to desserts. Highly recommended

Out of season but the place was still buzzing. We hadn't booked but when we enquired about eating inside (it was quite chilly) we were encouraged to wait just a few minutes and soon got a great table. As you might expect inside is a typical French quayside restaurant -varied and very interesting menu, good choice of local fish and... More

Just our sort of place, for coffee and a crossaint at breakfast, a plate of cheeses and glass of red wine for light supper, or a full-on steak frites for dinner. Wonderful collection of vins verre, wines by glass or bottle, and above all a very French atmosphere (yes, with smoking on the outside well heated terrace). The setting is... More

Perhaps the best situation in St Martin, very popular and lively, with a huge menu choice. Food was big on quantity, less so on quality and presentation, but a hearty meal.

Ate here one evening in August. St Martin de re is incredibly busy during the summer so were lucky to get a table. There is no paper menu just chalk boards so it's a bit difficult to know what is on offer and how much it costs till you sit down. Ordered a steak which was delicious and a fish... More
