This restaurant is different in that there is one menu prepared each day for dinner. You can take 5 courses--entree, fish, meat, cheese, and dessert--each prepared according to available ingredients and the chef's imagination. The options are to take 3 courses--entree, fish or meat, and dessert--or four courses (adding the cheese course) instead of the 5. Check the menu posted... More

Overall we enjoyed our meal at the Julianon restaurant. The service, although correct was slow, as there was only one waitress serving an entire room. Very good overall food, albeit a limited choice on the menu. We particularly liked our starter (cuttlefish with a beet purée) Very small portions - the main dish looked like it was meant to be... What an original idea. As long as you know in advance that you only have a tasting menu then everything will be fine. Delicious food

One set menu for the evening and that's it - no choice save for how many courses you choose. We were told by locals this is the place to eat in Senlis so we had high expectations. Well... all a bit stodgy and uninspiring. Husband in the kitchen; partner front of house. The cooking tried hard to be inventive but... More

The chef continues to surprise. If you are looking for quantity, go elsewhere. However, for a treat for the palate and surprising combinations, this is where you should go. I have always had a wonderful meal here.

The last meal of our stay in France was the best. Excellent and imaginative preparation. Attentive service. A lovely setting on the edge of the village. A memorable dining experience.

We were warned that they were serious foodies and didn't cater with 'childrens menu' but the chef suggested a slightly simpler menu by themselves and the food, all of it, was great quality and delicious. One of the best meal I have had for a long while. Yes they are gourmets but obviously want their guests to take pleasure in... More

On advice of the owner of our B&B across the square we visited this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is small (8 tables) and is run by a couple with him cooking and her serving. Everything is prepared fresh with regional ingredients. The menu is limited with 2 entrees, 2 fish 2 meat, cheeses and 2 desserts,... More

We visited this restaurant on the advice of the owner of our beautiful Chambre d'Hote. It was close by so we decided to give it à try. We knew that it wasn't à cosy restaurant but hoped that the food would make up for it. It didn't.. The presentation lacked any fantasy. So much so in fact, that it was... More

This place offers a great food experience with posh food at a reasonable price. The service can sometimes be a little awkward for relatively basic requests and the pricing of the A La Carte does not make sense when considering the Set Menu.
