Probably the best place to eat adviced by the locals. I can confirm this. The fish entree course is exquisite as well as the fish of the day I took. I paid more or less €30 for an entree, main and dessert course. Good value for the quality.

This restaurant is still the best in Saint Vaast in our opinion. We had a great evening meal there on 11 November and would recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful little fishing village

A friendly & inviting restaurant with wonderful food & wine ! The portions were excellent and the moules, almost certainly, were amongst the best I`ve ever eaten.

It was a quiet Monday night in November and the restaurant had the air of a country pub with a few locals propping up the bar. nevertheless the proprietor was happy to open the kitchen and to feed us very well

I was in France visiting relatives and we decided to take a drive to the picturesque small town of Saint-Vaast-la-Hogue which is notable for the island of Tatihou. Disappointingly the ferry service to the island wasn't running when we got there so we were unable to visit the island, so the next priority was lunch. A quick look on Tripadvisor... More

We had lunch here yesterday, both really enjoyed our main courses, very good carafe de vin rose followed by an excellent cafe gourmand! The waitress who served us was delightful. Highly recommend this restaurant

Had the modules mariners. It was lovely, probably the freshest mussels I have ever had. My partner had the daily meal which was skate in a reassure with season vegetables and saffron rice followed by rhubarb tart. I had pancetta with strawberries. It was all delicious.

We ate lunch at La Bisquine after a wander around the excellent Saturday market and before we returned to Cherbourg to catch our ferry home. Fortunately we arrived fairly early and there were still several tables free but it soon filled up and I am not surprised. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his mussels in cream sauce with chips and my... More

Again we chose it as it was number 1 on TA. Initially it looked good as they squeezed us in when very busy. Starters were excellent - main courses ok - but service infrequent and indifferent.

Personally, I had an all-around perfect experience, from food to service. It might be a little expensive, but it's so tasty and fresh, that it's worth it. Better book in advance, as it's over-popular.
