Super local Nicaraguan restaurant. The service is super slow so don't go hungry. I ordered the Huevos rancheros. They have a hot dog cart in this "window" that faces the street so anyone walking by can get a hot dog without coming inside. The food was taking so long that I got a one. It was really good. My food... More

My friend and I were looking for a breakfast joint and we stumbled on Querube's. I ordered #4 on the english menu which was 2 eggs, bacon, homemade potatoes, and toast and I received everything but the bacon because according to the spanish menu, there was no bacon so it was an "error that needed to be fixed". I ordered... More

Hostel Oasis recommended me this place. I wanted rice and meat. I came to the perfect place. The staff is very friendly and patient with my poco espaniol. It's was late in the afternoon, and not an ideal time for the lunch but the food was great. I am so satisfied with the rice and carne in my plate. The... More

This is the cheapest place to eat, is a clean buffet. Offers authentic Nicaraguan food at the lowest price possible. The only negative side of this place is LOCATION. Close to the public market, sidewalks are use by vendors, then the street has to be share with cars, pedestrians, and bikes.

While eating my fried chicken I spotted a whole crispy fried wasp cooked into the batter. When I told the owner he took away my entire plate of food and replaced it with a piece of chicken. He threw out half of my fries and did not replace them and charged me full price anyway. The rest of the food... More

The food is presented buffet style so you can see what you are ordering. We were not sure of some of the dishes so we asked questions (I speak Spanish so it was easy for us). Service was very good and the food was very tasty. They also take credit cards.

This is a great little restaurant, you find it by heading towards the market on the main street. You have your choice of many different foods, the price is very low and I like seeing all the locals there, hardly any gringos, it is a lunch place.
