Definitely worth the walk up to this cafe and guest house. Beautiful oasis of calm from the busy streets of Laxman Jhula. Their thali is amazing.

After reading and hearing positive reviews of the pyramid cafe, we made the big walk from across the river and up the hill to get lunch. It was 1200pm when we arrived and after being seated and picking our food, the waiter told us their...chef was leaving and we could not order food. We had a nice masala chai before leaving, but when paying, many dishes were being served to what appeared to be a yoga retreat group. Therefore, the chef leaving story, appeared to be a lie to stop us ordering food and hence showing that the pyramid cafe does not value their customers. Go to little Buddha instead!More

Hello Benkres. I'm sorry to see such a story. I'm in Switzerland at present and have no details about the story. Well, it seems that you got there at a wrong moment, which is unusual. The story of the chef leaving is certainly true, because...More

Pyramid was very close to where I was staying and hence ended up here for at least one meal a day.I really love their masala chai.Their food is decent and fresh. Tried a lot of food from their menu and my favourite was the falafel...and hummus with pita bread. The ambience of the place is just beautiful and very peaceful! I would mostly come back here for the ambience and the service is great. Very friendly and humble staff. Must visit on your trip to Rishikesh.More

This was the most pathetic brrakfast we ever had. First, if yoh are hungry, forget about this place because waiting time is horrendous. During waiting for your food you are wondering what amazing food you are going to get. At the end you end up...with eggs swimming in water in a cabbage leaf. At the same time, owner is schooling kids by ahouting at them in front of the guests. Definitely not the vibe we expected. Hot chocolate was great!!!More

The pyramid cafe is a great place to stay in Rishikesh. The rooms are basic but nice and worth the value, the food in the restaurant is super tasty and it's just a really nice chilled out place to hang out in at the end...of the day. Stuff is nice. I enjoyed my stay!More

And you’re a part of it when you stay there. Son and manager Rahul is very welcoming. Little sister Swati runs from the kitchen to the café as soon as she can and always with a smile. Worth the climb and if you stay there...you have to climb a few times a day. Food is great. We didn’t bother to go down to the street for a restaurant. The area is very humid so be prepared that everything you own will be wet.More

That place is very nice restaurant and garden. The variety of people are nice too. After I looked on the menu I find out that they offer almost everything. So I decided to go on yogi thali. Well the dish was serve after some time...and look very good by eyes looking, actually it was tasteless, but I finish it all like a good boy, when I paid they told me that I order expensive dish than I ask, without blinking and offering solution I payed what they ask, gladly.More
