Since there are not too many places to stop and eat on the Parkway, we pick here because of the reviews. The three of us had different sandwiches. The fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese sandwich was definitely the best pick. The chicken salad with...More

Meal and service were very good. Only negative were the fried green tomatoes on salad but not a show stopper. Breakfast was excellent and we will go back. Didn’t save room for blackberry cobbler and I hear it is a must.

Mabry Mill is the highlight of the visit but don't ignore the restaurant in the back of the visitors center. Very casual, catering to the visitors driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway Not a tourist trap but a serious restaurant We had a late lunch...More

Stopped for lunch. The food and service were very good. Reasonably priced. Healthy choice - choose three sides option. The baked apples were great. Not overlooked or too sweet.

It is obviously a turistic attraction, but the flavour of the meat and the prices were perfect. We enjoyed a burguer and a BBQ sandwich tender and plenty of flavour. We had to wait for a while, there were lots of families having lunch.

Our family often meets here for visits. The buckwheat cakes/gravy and the cheeseburgers are all time favorites. I can't get away from breakfast. The staff is very nice, the food is good and although they seem to have some coordination trouble, we almost always have...More

Ideally, stop at the restaurant as soon as you arrive and put your name on the seating list. If they can take you right away and you are ready to eat - Great! If they can't take you right away, put your name on the list and... More
