We were in search of British fare, so stopped in to the King's Court Tavern which advertises itself as a British Pub. We were mildly disappointed to find that they don't pull true British ales, and the beer selection was mostly local or national standard selections. Still, we were greeted by a very affable "barmaid", Jewel, who divides her time... More

Unfortunately, after a nearby graveside service, our choice restaurant on King Street (that I had previously greatly enjoyed with my daughter) was closed on a Monday (like most other eating spots there). We were deterred by a local jewelry merchant from a newer seafood restaurant (her one-time experience of stale chips) and couldn't find and were disenchanted by the spicier... More

It took me 15 minutes to get a glass of house merlot. When I finally got it, it appears that the glass it was served in was snatched out of the hand of a 4 year old who was eating peanut butter and drinking out of the glass. The bar tender was inattentive, and watching television. There was music on,... More

My boyfriend and I thought we'd try this place out to get some drinks and some food after a flyer was given to us outside the door. It was a busy night so we ordered our food along with the 1st round. Especially since it took 15 minutes of sitting at the bar for someone to take our order. After... More

worst experience in 40 years. 40 min. for average fish & chips, they charged $4 more than on- line price, I watched party of 20 complain to owner service was slow, I then suggested he was losing business because of slow service. His response " I don't need you"

First, you don't go here for the food. You go here for the constant stream of live music, a good beer selection, and just a place to relax. If you are hungry, they have a limited menu. Nothing fancy, and obviously nothing too high end, but a good stable of sandwiches, and some appetizers to munch on while the music... More

I was hoping after the change in location, there would be changes to the menu, beer selection, etc. Same tasteless food. The staff was great (big change there). And they have Founder's on tap.

The King's Court Tavern was refurbished and has changed names and menu and entire operation. We used to go to King's Court for fish and chips but couldn't go regularly due to the heavy cigarette smoke odor. We have been to Leesburg Brewing Company one time after they first opened. Menu was limited but the atmosphere was nice.

Visited here on 9/14/13 before seeing a concert around the corner. At 6:00 on a Saturday evening the place was not very crowded despite an Art Festival going on in the streets this weekend. There was outdoor seating in the back but I didn't check it out. Speed of service was acceptable although there seemed to be some confusion between... More

Not an expert and I've only been here for a few minutes one time (bar crawl on my own). Beer is okay, but limited selection (mostly light beers-think PBR, Coors, Miller, etc, couple lagers and ales, little dark beer). Good news is that Friday and Sat nights there is usually a live band or some form of entertainment to go... More
