The food here is great, very casual atmosphere. I have been multiple times and was never disappointed. Great brunch spot!

Not the best Cajun food experience I have encountered, but this is Northern Virginia. We arrived at 1pm on a Wednesday, and we were the only customers in the restaurant. Food seemed rather expensive, but like I said; this is Northern Virginia (near DC). Cornbread was too sweet for me. Red beans and rice was dry. They had no seafood... More

We came here during Leesburg's First Friday. We sat on the back patio on an absolutely beautiful late summer evening and since it was First Friday, we were entertained by a band playing music. We ordered the hushpuppies (had to send back to be thoroughly cooked) and the fried pickles (delicious) for appetizers, and then had fried shrimp (good but... More

Decided to go here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. got the jambalaya and beans and rice. Felt like it was authentic New Orleans, service was very good but it was not very busy there that night. The jalapeño bloody Mary is excellent. Great character inside the restaurant I like the fact it's not a strip mall and cookie-cutter... More

We went in on a sunday afternoon, having gotten a recommendation from a local. Tiny place, welcoming and friendly. We split the triple (red beans and sausage, etouffee, and jambalaya) and also split an order of crayfish mac 'n cheese. My favorite was the etouffe, hers was the jambalaya, although all four dishes were excellent. "Mmm, different flavors."

Although Leesburg is not the first -- or even the tenth -- place I'd expect to find great Cajun cooking, we were very lucky in stumbling across the Cajun Experience. The inside seating is a bit tight, but we got to sit outdoors in the restaurant's spacious backyard. The dinners we ordered were consistently great, and a live outdoor performance... More

I've wanted to like this restaurant since they opened having lived in Louisiana for many years, but I have gone several times and they always fail. Bland red beans and rice, boudin balls greasy, jambalaya mushy, cornbread dry...need I say more. Too expensive too.

I love New Orleans style food and couldn't believe it when we went to this 'hole in the wall' in Leesburg and the food turned out to be soooo good. I have been back there several times - taking different friends with me and I don't know if they enjoy it as much as me - BUT they ate everything... More

In the couple of times I've gone here to eat, I found it to be a lot of fatty/deep fried food. I probably had already decided to not go back here ever before I heard that the owner made it known that anyone can come in to eat open carrying there guns. NOT something I am comfortable seeing someone's gun... More

Being from Louisiana I was excited to find a Cajun restaurant in NOVA. The excitement was gone quickly after we entered the door. The service started out good. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken. That's where it all went down hill. I had to go looking for our server to get our beer. Then I had... More
