Worth getting one block off the main road -- good food, good service ... very accommodating. Friday and Saturday nights are special for the neighborhood or as an adjunct to museums and fests.

Funky little cafe with a menu of great sandwiches whose names give a shout out to local landmarks and history married to a shop with a selection of Virginia snackables and a terrific selection of wines and beers for later.

Nice place for lunch inside or outside. Great customer service. Friday afternoon wine tastings and an occasional band appearance. Owner quite helpful in selecting and pairing wines, great selection of beers.
