My friends and I stopped here for dinner tonight. Our server was great! She kept us filled on drinks, properly took our orders and laughed, most importantly! We all had the chicken cacciatore, penne vodka, fettuccini alfredo and pasta with shrimp. Our meals tasted great with good size portions and priced reasonably! We took cannolis home as were stuffed! Great place. And a friendly staff! Great place for Italian connection!!!

Got take-out while visiting in the area and didn't want to go out. This place was close by so we tried it. I got chicken parmesan and shared my spaghetti with my grandkids. I wasn't impressed. The chicken appeared to be chicken patties the dinner rolls were rubbery and the salad was bland. It was okay but I've had better.

I order food to take back to my hotel room. My order is ready within 15 minutes. I have had pizza and lasagna; both were great. The inside of the restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Stopped in on a whim, and Trip Advisor recommendation.
It was quaint, authentic, the food was great, homemade bread superb. My server was just the best and as sweet as the world is big.
I heartily recommend.

My family and I used to come here frequently, but in the past 2 years it has gone down hill, poor ingredients, certainly not an Italian chef or a chef in the Kitchen.
My Daughter ordered a personal pan pizza with cheese and I had the Spaghetti with garlic and oil. The Pizza was under cooked and crust was doughy...the sauce was bland and it looked premade frozen and thrown in an oven. My spaghetti and Garlic and oil was horrible there was so little olive oil on the bottom of the bowl and crystalized garlic. NOT even sliced or cloves of garlic, My spaghetti looked as if it was premade and sitting in a bowl till cold and then dropped in hot water. It was so water logged and tangled and cool in the middle. I was able to put my fork in it and pick it up as a whole ball of pasta. It was thrown on top of the preheated Oil and crystalized garlic, not even mixed and seasoned. no flavor to any of the food that was brought out. Who ever is cooking back in the Kitchen needs to have some training on how to cook for customers. The forks and knives were smudged not totally clean, The garlic knots or what ever they were, was cool to the touch and tasted as if they were in a fridge and hard. Not even warmed up for service like they used to do.
The service was ok, People were not that friendly, no how are you and welcome. no smiles. they were just going through the motions of serving drinks and bringing out the food.
I will not return anymore, they have really shown me the place is going down hill quickly.

We all have places like this that we go to about once a year. That will change to zero times a year after today's experience. We ordered the Lunch Special lasagna and when it arrived in a 'boat', well, we knew there was trouble ahead. Quite obvious what was done here, from bottom to top: lasagna noodle/house sauce/noodle/sauce/cheese. Not a neatly created lasagna loaf with good ingredients including ricotta but a wet, runny mess of a mess that was far from the firm, almost cake-like dish that myself and most others call lasagna. Shameful.

We got into town late so we ordered pizza at the hotel and went to pick it up. We ordered mozzarella sticks, margarita pizza and side salads. Mozzarella sticks were good, but not anything extra special. Salads were simple but good. I was impressed with the size of the side salad. The pizza was disappointing! Honestly, dominos is better. There wasn’t fresh tomatoes as described on the pizza, just sauce. And the basil was just dried seasoning. Pizza wasn’t inedible, but just wasn’t good. I was hoping for more.

We stopped in Sunday night for dinner after the NASCAR race in Richmond. I ordered Netherlands shrimp and scallops over pasta in a garlic butter sauce. The food was great with good flavor and not overly garlicky. Prices were reasonable and it was well worth our stop even though we were there late in the day. This is on my return visit list when we get back over that way.

My wife and I just ate there. While I gagged three times she actually had to spot hers out on the plate. I made it home before chucking. She had Veal Marsala and I had the Veal Florentino . Horrible doesn't describe it . It tasted like my 15 year old outside hound smelled. And to pay $50.00! Their Pizza is good and that's all they should offer. Seriously a GROSS meal!

The service is always great...very friendly and attentive staff. For lunch, I had the steak and cheese sandwich and fries for about $8. The sandwich was stuffed with meat and cheese, and the onions and peppers gave it a great flavor. The place is nothing fancy, but the food and service are highly recommended.

I had lunch at Gino's with some colleagues earlier today. The restaurant does a good business at lunch time but we were able to find a table. The menu is subs, pizza, and pasta with a good variety of choices. I had a steak sub, which tasted fine; however, my fries were not fully cooked. They were still partially frozen on the inside. This really isn't acceptable.
Service was friendly and prices reasonable.

There were four of us who ate at this restaurant having everything from pizza to linguine with clam sauce and it all was delicious. You can get wine and beer with dinner and the portions were more than adequate and the prices very reasonable. It is located in a strip mall so it's not fine dining - more like a pizzeria - but the food is very good..

In the past 10 years I think I've been to Gino's at least 40 or 50 times, and I've never had a bad experience. The pizza is some of my favorite in the area and I've had the cheese steak, meatball parm, sausage parm, spaghetti, onion rings, toasted ravioli, and a few others items, and I don't think I've ever been disappointed. Service is always very quick and they don't leave you stranded while waiting on napkins, refills, or anything you need. And the prices are good, too. Overall, just a very good Italian option in the Richmond area.

Ate hear recently after seeing the good reviews on TripAdvisor, the food was good but the servers seemed to be so sad, a little smile goes a long way to making a customer feel valued
