We come here for takeout, but the interior has been redone recently and is really well done -- lots of natural wood and I'd recommend dining in. Sweet Rice always has the friendliest staff, attentative and courteous. Love their Pa-Nang -- has a nice kick to it. Black Sticky Rice and Mango is a must desert. Give this place a... More
We love dining at Sweet Rice. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. For some reason, it is never busy, maybe because it's a small space and easy for people to miss. I love their cocktails, especially the lychee martini. I usually order the Panang Curry with tofu. The Pad Cashew Nut is also delicious.
Very friendly and helpful service. Good food. Clean and quiet setting. We had the chicken pad thai and pork panang curry. I personally prefer a little more spice in my thai dishes, but they do have condiment trays available to add spiciness as desired. Super convenient to the W&OD Bike trail
Came here with friends while on vacation. I had a coupon from restaurant.com. Ordered our meal and we ate our dinner which was ok.(I have had better thai else where). I told the waitress as we went to pay that I had the coupon. She did not know how to do it so she asked the owner to help. Owner... More
Everything I've had here has had good flavors. It's a bit cheaper than the McLean competitors. If you are ordering something that is spicy, make sure to tell them if you don't want it as spicy. I ordered the drunken noodles medium soice and it was still pretty spicy!
Their menu seemed to suggest more authenticity than you typically see in a Thai restaurant in America. I picked from the "healthy choice" part of the menu and enjoyed it all. The Tom Yum Veggie soup was nice but could have been hotter. The Yum Woon Sen salad was a revelation. I haven't come across it before and really enjoyed... More
Pleasant Thai food on Broad street in Falls Church not far from the West Falls Church metro station. Mid priced, friendly wait staff.
Hello - we went to Sweet Rice recommend by friends and we're not disappointed. We had Duck Roll, pad Thai, and red and green curry. Some of our party didn't want spicy - no problem. We fad 4 entries for 3 adults and heads the yum yum wasn't that good all the home.
W have eaten in Sweet Rice several times. It has always been good. This last time we had chicken with eggplant and Pad Thai. The eggplant had just the right amount of heat and the Pad Thai was very good, maybe a little sweeter than usual.
