This Cantonese Hong-Kong style restaurant has been here since 1980's the foods quality is consistent and dim sum are good without the taste of preservatives. They made it authentic and mostly tasty. I like the ducks, scallops dumplings and the fish congee. I think the place need a face lift to attract more customers- but most importantly is to maintain... More

When we got to our table, the table was still sticky and there was no soy sauce dish. A small plate of 3 dumplings cost $6, in which the dumplings were cold and stick together like glue. The restaurant is small so it can be hard walking around because there are servers with food cart circling around tables. Throughout the... More

Dimsum are carried out on the carts and most of they are good. I wish they have better selection. Be careful to not get too many dimsum or your bill can be high (i paid $100 before tip for 2). The staff is quite unfriendly but its ok, they are very busy there

We went for dim sum and were happily satisfied. The dim sum is offered all day. They offer 4+ different types of dumplings, plus traditional Hong Kong favorites, such as taro dumplings. We ordered seafood and mushroom dumplings, baby cuttlefish with peanuts, shrimp rice noodle crepes, stuffed eggplant and pan fried chive dumplings. They were all very good, but the... More

We went to Mark's Duck House for dim sum during lunch time on a weekday. It turned out to be a great time to go because the restaurant was not crowded at all. The decor could be updated and the huge dining room had a bit of a stuffy feel. Our favorites from the carts were fried shrimp balls, seafood... More

Dim-sum carts (two of them) carry the same few dishes, that cart handlers hard-sell to you as much as they can. The food is cold, so once you make your pick, they have to reheat it in the microwave. Dim-sum is greasy and not very tasty. A few plates of this less than satisfactory dim-sum for a quick lunch for... More

Until a few years ago, I had never had Peking duck. My wife, however, is a huge fan and wanted me to try it. We went to Peking Gourmet Inn in VA - U.S. presidents have gone here for years and its reputation was outstanding. She had been to this place several times in the past and liked it, so... More

We had reservations for dinner and they seated us promptly. With a large party we wanted a large round table and we got one with a lazy Susan so that all dishes were shared family style. They serve dim sum into the evening although they did run out of several of the items we requested. The waiter was apologetic. We... More

Mark's Duck House was as good as I remembered. Hadn't been there in a few years and recently had the occasion to choose this restaurant to host a lunch meeting. I made a same-day lunch reservation for eight; despite the restaurant being a busy place, our party was given a really good table. The individual dim sum plates were delicious.... More

I recommend avoiding this place. This long-standing restaurant has gone down hill. Food is uneven and the service poor. We went recently and had a bad experience: the shrimp dumpling was way overcooked--it was soggy and the wait staff actually admitted that it had been sitting for a long time. And the service was even worse. We went early on... More
