Clearly a local place, which is fun when in a new town; the food was very good in taste and ingredients. It was affordable and laid back.

One of my favorite local hangouts, CD features an excellent tequila selection, top-shelf margaritas, and a loud, vibrant scene. The food is better than average, but the drinks and energy are the real draw. Just a great local hang, with an interesting mix of UVA students and older locals...really good vibe.

Love this restaurant! It is located on Main Street but has no sign outside that says Continental Divide - just a sign that says "get in here". :) Once inside, it's a bustling, loud, fun kind of place with a ton of tequilas to choose from for your margarita. But the food is even more amazing. We had an incredible... More

The food was excellent. It is a small restaurant and easy to miss. I think it caters to locals. The staff was extremely friendly. There is not much atmosphere but it certainly does not effect the meal. we had a great meal and a great time. We arrived early enough we did not have to wait but if you enjoy... More

This tee shirt slogan worn by the staff of this bar/ restaurant says it all. My wife and I were by far the oldest people in the place but we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Got the blue chips with goat cheese appetizer, the angus meatloaf and too many of the great margaritas. Luckily the place is just a few feet from... More

Shared a booth with 6 friends on the weekend. The place was busy. Wait staff was patient, organized and took our order without writing anything down. To our surprise, the orders were perfect. Food and drinks were delivered quickly. I had the beef tacos. Tons of food, tasted good and went extremely well with a margarita. I would definitely recommend... More

With no adverising or sign out front, you have to know its good because it is always packed with a wait. Very small but the dishes are out of this world. Chef Amber Cohen is one of the most creative artist chefs we've met. Not to be missed. Not good for large parties...the restaurant is just to small.

This is a fun place to go and get the feel for downtown Charlottesville. The food was delicious and well priced. It is noisy, but that's part of the experience.

Really enjoyed the food at Continental Divide. Santa Fe enchiladas were really good. This is a small, crowded restaurant, which is fine. My only complaint was the service. Our waitress would disappear and I spent much of the dinner trying to spot her and get her attention. I am pretty easygoing and don't expect a hovering waitress, but this was... More
