The most original diner. Owner is very open and positive and really knows what a diner with good food should be. Lovely pancakes, excellent coffee, great atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping by.

We were warmly treated to some hometown ribbing which set the mood for a GREAT luncheon experience...and they didn't just pick on the visitors...the locals got it as well! The food was GREAT...I enjoyed the club and would have enjoyed the french fries had the oil been changed since the last fish fry! WONDERFUL experience and happy that we stopped!

The 1952 dinner is a great place to eat. The have a pretty good selection of food plus the people who serve you are extremely friendly and really set the atmosphere. We would definitely eat here again

What is a small town without a silver sided diner? Luckily, right on Main Street you'll find the tiny restaurant. Like the typical diner it is not about fancy, it's about food. I stopped here for lunch on a fall trip of the town. The chowder features a thick creamy broth, large chunk of potatoes and clams. Not fancy but... More

Except for the expected wear and tear resulting from almost 60 years of use... Everything else is intact: counter, booths with cracked leather seats, menus(including “Hilbilly Benedict”), neon advertising, all! Prices are updated, though! Coffee is great and I highly recommend the Vermont Apple pancakes. I stopped here while waiting for the Precision Museum to open and I'm glad I... More

Come across this place by accident, although nothing to look at, the food was good and the service was fast. Shelly was pretty funny and she is worth the visit alone. Although you could go elsewhere for a half-fat, mocha skinny, with a lemon twist and an organic, free-range poppy seed muffin, this is fine for a homecooked breakfast. Thank... More

I like the experience of visiting diners, for their vintage "flair" and comfort food. This is a staple for this area. There were 4 of us, and the service was friendly and efficient. Prices are good, but food was lacking at breakfast time. We went on a Monday morning and no one from my party wanted to go back the... More

The attendant at St. Gaudens in Cornish NH told us about this spot....she'd never eaten here, but being a sucker for dumpy looking diners I had to try and guess what? A Score! No, there was no waitress named Pearl, Flo or Alice, but "wise cracking" Shelly was the best. Partner had chicken salad sandwich and I had BLT Bothe... More
