I'm having part of my family vacation in Stow, VT. Having browsed through Tripadvisor's restaurant section I decided to tryout what 1,200 reviewers before me crowned as the numero uno in this part of VT. I'm endorsing it as such full heartedly. The ambience is...More

My husband and I both enjoyed this restaurant very much. I had the chicken and my husband had the venison. Outstanding. The atmosphere was very cozy and not loud so you could actually carry on a conversation. Would definitely go again when we are in...More

We visited last evening and on arrival thought we may be in for a treat. The restaurant was buzzing - not always the case in places on a Monday evening. We were very warmly greeted and experienced friendly service from our lovely waitress. The menu...More

We've been to Harrison's many times over the years, and have also eaten at most of the other available eateries in Stowe...Harrison's is the best of them all. The ambiance is just spectacular, with the restaurant in a cozy space below a building right on...More

After a less than stellar experience, we gave Harrison's another try and were happy we took the chance. Service was just right and food well-prepared and tasty. We had a comfortable booth away from the bar. Will definitely return.

Husband and I enjoyed Harrison's while in Vermont this spring: variety of price and selection of entrees appreciated. The sandwiches are man-sized and the seafood dishes perfectly arranged with accompaniments. Only concern: the location is awkward, downstairs seems less desirable but worthwhile seeking for those...More

Harrison's is way to small. You might try idletyme. They have a separate room. Also, trattoria le fiesta has a separate room. Biergarten at von trapp lodge does events as well! 😊

We ate downstairs so not sure - but yes there is an outside patio where I would have thought well behaved small dogs would be acceptable. They are a very friendly team tho - so best give them a ring and ask!
