Recently changed hands so we were excited to see if the menu and food had changed...nope. Still plain institutional like food. Also no specials. Hamburger was more like meat loaf. Fish dishes (salmon and cod) ok but served with plain white rice and sugar snap peas. Perhaps this is what most of the restaurant's clientele like but a too bland... More

Peregrine426, Thank you for your review. I am sorry you did not enjoy your meal. We do not offer specials because we change the menu items each week. The menu is always posted on our website - www.shorehaminn.com. The new menu gets posted on Thursday and most items are good through the following Monday. I hope you can give us... More

My husband and I call ourselves food critics, especially burgers. The burger I had was hands down best I have had! The cheese was a nice thick slice and the burger had spices to give it that nice flavor. I had never been to the Shoreham Inn before but can guarantee I will be back!!!

Excellent food and drinks. Quaint New England Inn/pub atmosphere for fall leaf viewing season. We are a Black family and we felt very welcomed. The food was excellent. New England themed menu was delicious and portioned.

Molly & Dom are wonderful innkeepers and made our bike group feel so welcomed! They served a delicious dinner (even though they were closed to the public that night)!

The salmon cakes are especially good. Mashed potatoes could clog your arteries, but worth it:) Not a big menu, but something for most tastes. A cozy, well run and welcoming spot.

Stayed a night here on an Inn to Inn bike tour. We stayed in the old sheep barn (wonderful accommodations) and had a delicious local dinner and breakfast.

Shoreham is a little town near the ferry to NY state. We've passed the in several times but never stopped in. Our mistake. The beer selection is limited, but good, and they have a good wine list. We had appetizers and dessert which were outstanding. The bannioff pie was rich and delicious and more than enough for two.

We will eat at the Shoreham at least once a year, most likely in the winter. Why you ask? There is a large stone fireplace with a roaring fire and winter nights in Vermont can be cold! So the ambiance is wonderful, and then you add the food and without a doubt you have a wonderful combination for a delightful... More

We stayed in the Inn, and then walked down stairs for dinner (rather than driving somewhere), which is always a treat. We choose a table on the very pleasant outdoor deck and started with wine. We were pleasantly surprised by the list of wines by the glass and especially reasonable prices, We chose a New York Finger Lakes Riesling at... More

Description
U. K. Pub serving good food: A place to get modern comfort food in a casual pub setting; a laid-back place where reservations aren't needed, but sharing tables may be required; you might just have a drink, maybe a nibble, or perhaps a three course meal.

Please see the Welcome page for the links to a few very nice mentions in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Boston Globe.
