Always enjoy the ambiance, staff and food at this cafe nestled in the Green Mountains on Rt. 100. Food is basic but well prepared and the specials are wonderful. Have eaten here many times for breakfast and lunch. Recommend regularly.

Driving home from a weekend at Sugarbush we stopped here for breakfast. Couldn't have picked a more local down-home place. Had to go through a little gift shop to enter restaurant, as the door to go inside directly was closed in the winter as to not have patrons get a blast of cold air every time someone walks in. So... Stoped here for breakfast in our way to visit our friends. All of our food was SO good! Service was fine - I think staff prefers locals over 'tourists', but food was still awesome & would go back.

Situated in an old country store building on the Main Street, the cafe is a delight. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. It is obviously a popular local eatery as well as catering for tourists. Very reasonable prices and well worth a visit.

This is a great little cafe in the Rte 100 valley. We almost always stop here for lunch when we get a chance. The food is always fresh and home made. My favorite is the soup/sandwich combo - with the gazpacho and any sandwich with avocado. Sitting outside in the summer you feel like part of the small VT town... More

The food is wonderful. We have eaten here a number of times and have never had a bad meal. It is a family-friendly restaurant run and managed by members of the community. There are many local choices.

We had been out all day and were in need of a coffee/tea break. We only wanted a cake rather than a meal as we had a restaurant reservation for that evening. We shared a very large cinnamon cake which the waitress suggested she warmed for us - this made it even more delicious and we would have called in... More

This little cafe in Rochester was one of the highlights of our trip to Vermont. It was like traveling back in time -everything is homemade and the waitresses funny and welcoming. The building is old and on one side is a little gift shop. We had a little wait for lunch so we browsed around. The food was great -had... More

We called in to this vintage café en route around the Green Mountains. Great selection of coffee and cakes. Caramelatte was delicious but far too sweet for my taste. Good selection of fall themed gifts and sweets in the adjoining gift shop.
